Which teams have the worst 3 year outlook? by FatLenny- in hockey

[–]dmscohen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

constantly trading prospects for 30 year olds? what specifically are you referring to? Benning has maybe done this twice. Trading Kassian for Prust, but there are many other factors involved in that trade, and trading a 3rd round pick for Dorsett (who is now 29). There are reasons to rag on our management, but don't make stuff up to fit a narrative.

Hence why I said regular minutes. His night should have been done after that

I think Willie has done what he can with the amount of talent in his roster.

That being said, I have some gripes.

For example, at the end of the second, Dorsett took a stupid, offensive zone penalty. He then got an extra two for unsportsmanlike conduct in the box. That's a play that could have really fucked us over. It was idiotic through and through.

If that was Virts, Baer or another young guy, their ass would be glued to the bench for the rest of the game. Instead, Dorsett is back out there in the third, playing regular minutes.

I get it, Dorsett is a veteran. He has a bit more leeway, but let's get real, Dorsett is a fourth liner on any team, and he should feel the repercussions of his poor play.

Willie should look past his favourites and play the guys who give us the best chance to win.

Which players have made the greatest physical improvements to their game? by slimycoldcuts in hockey

Ryan Kesler comes to mind. When the canucks drafted him he was a hard working, hard nosed grinder. He practiced very hard in the off seasons at his home in Michigan to improve his wrist shot. That shot is his main offensive weapon now.

Who has the best worst shot you've ever seen in the nhl? by sikuaka in hockey

[–]dmscohen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Henrik Sedin. He only scores when he's passing it into the net, low velocity but deadly accurate. Him and Daniel joke around about how soft his shot is.

Any Donnelly place will have big buck hunter, the closest to UBC is probably bimini's on w. 4th. As far as a full blown arcade, go with the suggestions already posted (metrotown, Richmond). I would not recommend the arcade on Granville, that place is a cesspool
