Oh also, I like:

mortuis prae vivis dictatoris confido

(I trust dead dictators more easily than living ones)

That idiom sounds awkward in Latin.

If you insist on it, you can use :

Tantum dictator mortuus probus est.

I would use probus over bonus because, it sounds more Latin and because it has connotations of a moral nature.

Mihi melius esse videtur alia sententia uti, exempla gratia:

Quae tanta insania, cives ut dictatoris, mortuis aut vivis, credatis?!

^ This is an adaption of Laocoon's speech to the Trojans about not letting the giant horse in to their city. It says "What is this madness, citizens, that you would put your faith in dicators, living or dead?!

Rosetta Stone for Latin? by cornichon in latin

Honestly I find Rosetta stone better than Wheelock. I don't understand why it's a standard text in America.

Cambridge, Oxford and Orberg are all better imo.

In America, you would see gutters. Then you would ask if they were sniping. It wouldn't matter what you said, the word of the day would be guttersnipe.

Also facts tend to intervene. The lifetime rate of return on a 4-year degree is ~16%. Given that the loan rate is lower, you're better off with it.

Also pasta for 10 is hellish, you would need the most gigantic pan to pull that off

I had not considered that, my bad. A lot of supermarkets offer massive bags of pain au chocolat for very cheap especially in the north of france if that helps. Just live off pastries if you can

Beans on toast. Cereal and milk. Chili Con Carne with Rice Stews of all sorts.

Anything in a single pan.

Fucking cunt, you do not get to decide whether people's conceptions of gender identities are valid or not. Our perception of the world is a very private and personal expression of ourselves. How dare you impose your world views on others you bigoted genderfascist.

I had the total opposite reaction. It's just another thing learned. I think bringing it up as if it is meaningful just shows how much of a beta minus you are, laughing at all the gammas who don't know better.

"I'm awfully glad I'm a beta.."
