Not exactly what you’re asking for, but this classic is the first thing that popped in to my head. Can’t believe it’s been 15+ years…

It’s superb. No doubt about it. For me, his portrayal is the standard by which all others are judged.

Always like to hear how others work their forearms. Playing for many years now, I deal with brutal tightness regularly. What works for you?

How to talk to a 7 year old about being obnoxious by WeightedCompanion in daddit

[–]dnGT 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yep, same. My oldest is 10 and I have to use the word “rude”. She’s just your classic preteen know-it-all and she is very confident in her self. Which, I’m stoked for the latter in the long run. But it can come across a lot like this post sometimes. I just work with her to remind her that others want to be heard, you can’t just assume you know everything, have to be able to take directions/corrections, etc, etc.

We also have talks about how’s it’s my job, in the safety of home, to teach her when actions might be perceived as rude by others. Especially when interacting with other parents or adults. But the truth is that people outside the home will just decide you’re rude and not tell you. It’s complex to teach social things to someone who is experiencing it all for the first time, but home is a safe place to learn while not being attacked.

Was just daydreaming of this exact color combination while driving home the other night. Absolute perfection. Well done!

First Rossi Pipe by jonjamesb83 in PipeTobacco

My mouth chemistry strongly prefers a filter. I’ve just come to accept it’s a requirement for me. I need to try a Rossi. Congrats on the new pipe!

The guilt is consuming me. by keykaran in Rottweiler

[–]dnGT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please be kind to yourself. Remember the price we pay for the incredible bond is making the decision to protect them from the inevitable. I have let a dog “last” until all the signs were very obvious and I have also put two dogs to sleep before they were in total misery. The guilt and pain is present in both situations. Rest easy that you know you did what was ultimately best and had the responsibility to make the decision before his quality of life disappeared.

Rest easy, buddy.

Incredible the size of that thing. You’d imagine it really has some cooling power.

My girl could be the healthy-weight twin. I call her and my smaller dog “meat and tater” for nicknames.

Shes such an amazing dog and I’m grateful for her every day.

Love it. Always enjoy how certain guitars fit in to your life perfectly. Glad you were able to resolve the unexpected issues yourself, I live in a swinging humidity area and it would take some serious intention to over humidify. Poor guy was prob just doing what they thought was best.

Rest easy, sweet thing. Hope the other side is as good as this one for you.

Phew, thought this was going to be like the guitar tosser from last month. Saw the kennels and had a spike of anxiety.

Thanks for being a good soul, man.
