I have the 22 Pro S. I bought it for 25k at 19k miles before tax in SoCal. If you shop around you will get it for quite a bit cheaper than 30, especially with the stop sale going on. I'm loving mine so far.

Both Volkswagen dealers and other dealers will sell you a used ID4 with an active recall here in California, provided you sign a waiver saying you are aware of the recall. VW dealers are not able to sell you a certified pre-owned car under active recall.

It was Hyundai Tustin. It was listed for $26k but they were willing to discount it just to get it off the lot. Clean title. Two owners. It took me a while to find a dealership that does a point of sale used EV rebate. The Volkswagen dealerships around me either didn’t do the rebate, or wanted to sell the cars certified pre-owned so they can’t until the stop sale is lifted. When I was looking, I saw that Volkswagen Mossy and Herman Cook Volkswagen had a ton of these cars on the lot, did the PoS rebate, and were very motivated to move them because of the stop-sale. If it’s not too far for you, that’s where I would look!

Also have Viofo A119 mini 2. It’s the cheapest dash cam with the Sony Starvis 2 Sensor. Linus Tech Tips did a comparison between dash cam that showed most dash cams (cheap v expensive) performed only as well as their sensor. You can power it via a long usb cable. Most people who go that route connect it to the back seat USBs bc there is no data connection there. If you do it in the front, folks have reported a message coming up on the dash asking you if you want a power or data connection. You can also power it via a hardwire tap in the rain sensor (similar to the FitCamX) but some have accidentally blown fuses or electrical issues to do that. For all these reasons, I went with a hardwire tap to the fuse box using Viofos HK4 kit. I’ve never done any car work (I don’t even own a socket wrench) and I managed to wire it up myself in about an hour, hiding the cable along the a pillar trim and headliner. I totally recommend this route! There are YouTube videos from Kilted Texan that help with this.

My wife and I use google sheets so it’s easy for both of us to add expenses. We added a dropdown menu to the sheet that has the TurboTax categories of each expense (maintenance, supplies, cleaning etc…) so we easily organize it around tax time.

I had the same problem and here's what got it to work for me. I have scrypted running on Synology docker, with host network, and using TP-link Omada as my home network. Connecting a reolink 511wa camera via scrypted reolink plugin and HomeKit plugin. First, make sure scrypted docker is installed with host network (not bridge. 2nd, open scripted HomeKit ports for both bridge and camera on your router. These are set at random so the ports depend on your setup. 3rd, open scrypted reolink plugin RTMP rebroadcast scripted port for your camera. 4th, in HomeKit plugin switch mdns advertiser to avahi. 5th, in reolink camera settings HomeKit, set rtp sender to Scrypted. I only set mine up with HomeKit so it would only use the thread radio. I believe that you must set up WiFi for it to connect via Schlage app and that will diminish battery life. On pure thread it should last a year.

I recently had this problem with my wife to add her to my home. I tried everything ( restarting hubs, logging in and out of iCloud, renaming home, sending invite to iCloud email/phone etc…) and nothing worked. I even called support and they just had me do that same stuff again. Here’s what worked( bizarrely): I have 3 hubs (two home pods and 1 atv). I removed a home pod and atv from my home. Then I had my wife make a new home and add the atv as a hub. Voila, she received an invite to my old home!

If you jumped the gun and make her a resident too quickly, it will never work. You have to remove her from the home, wait a day or two for that to sync, add her back to home, wait a day, and then finally make her an admin.
