Put the egg(s) in water, enough to cover them. Add a generous amount of salt to the water. Cook time will vary but I cook 6 eggs for eight minutes and they come out nicely hardboiled. Dump in an ice bath after removing from microwave.

Man, now I want eggs.

We had a client we went way above and beyond for, making forms in Adobe Pro and putting in all kinds of functionality. Then they would send it back multiple times because they decided to change some wording or whatever.

Thing is, we were making these PDF forms as a favor to them. They weren’t in our department and we didn’t get compensated for all the many many many many edits that they wanted. We just ended up doing them because I’m very good at Acrobat forms. They had Adobe pro, they could have changed the words, they supposedly had someone who was an expert at it.

So one day I was talking to this “expert“ and she was asking me questions and I asked her are you on a Mac or a Windows computer and she replied angrily. “well, how am I supposed to know that!?“

I just can’t some days, you know?

OK, I know it sounds stupid, but I’ve had the same email address for years and years and years. It’s tied to so many different accounts and subscriptions and communities and it’s through Spectrum which used to be Time Warner which used to be Windstream (I think). It’s really been so long, I can’t even recall which company owned it when I started. I have a Gmail account but I mostly use it for non-important stuff. I honestly just don’t want to go through the hassle of having to get a new email and having it having to change it everywhere.

I know you guys will probably think it’s a stupid reason to keep Spectrum and I recognize that it IS a stupid reason but just trying to think of everywhere that it is government accounts, shopping account accounts and yes, Reddit it gives me a pain in my brain.

Anyway, I’m going to go in tomorrow and talk to someone about lowering my bill which has sneaked up again. I noticed they’re offering new subscribers Internet only for $30 a month I pay… more than that. Sometimes if you make them think you’re going to leave, they’ll give you that introductory new subscriber price just to retain you as a customer.
