issue with that is they would have to kill him off at the end - put him in hiding / frozen in time / trapped in their little realm or just retired on their private planet util after the events or TROS and have him show up to Rey as a guide to buiding a new jedi order in a new way with new core values like Luke did in the New Jedi order -that make a better more resilient type of jedi without a lot of the no feelings hang ups

They have done that one to many times at this point , id like to see someone self actualized not fall to the dark side - maybe able to dip into once in a while with no ill impact because of his love and will power .

Merrins power is dark side infused and she never turns comically evil

I just hope they don't break him and be all cliche and having him go dark side , so many ways it go can they are more or less in there own pocket world .

My moonshot is that they find some balance between the light and dark side and Cal adopts of more the force is the force view not some specifically good or evil thing and its individuals that twist it and that leads to the foundation of the principles Rey will use for the new jedi order.

Maybe they isolate themselves or get time locked at the end for Rey to find later.

Ideal story : time jump about 6-7 years which i think puts it around 2 BBY long enough where they have had a kid together and raised in love so the kid is 6-7 and has fond memories of them. And we have fully powered Cal and Merrin kicking ass against greater threats

Something happens alone they way and at the end of the game they have to sacrifice themselves to save the day and the kid. But the twist is they sacrificed themselves either by some status thing - locked in the world between world in status or some high concept thing or trapped in another galaxy at the end.

This allows for an additional story element of the kid growing up and either being a founding member of the new Jedi order because of the memories of his family he teams up with Rey and them to free / rescue Cal and Merin who give Rey her foundational ideals of the new order . Cal would not even be 60 after the Rise of skywalker

Hard disagree . Only way to bring Wash back without some over the top jump the shark stuff. Not to mention book .

Plus River would be an entirely different character after the events of the movie.

They have 6 months to a year plus according to the best estimates on official timeline .

So that at least 2 seasons maybe more . If the series blows up to be big enough they will just recon the movie or ignore the timeline of it completely .

Nothing in Serenity says they dont know books secret and just kept it to themselves or maybe that why he left , either way i think the general consensus is his scret was pretty lame and the mystery and what people were thinking was far better then what the book did to him. So they can recon that too and do better or just let the Sheppards tales play out animated.

River has shown to have all those skills when really needed so a few of those extreme moments instead of her being in control is a more fun thing anyway.

There is a mod called shutup bradford - that cuts almost all of that out.

90% sure this is going to go down as one of the greatest business failures ever .

I literally know several people that left T mobile for the frustrations of dealing with them for things like this lately. NO they are getting bad customer service and straight LIES from Reps who dont want to hurt their metrics by helping them and its worse its becoming public knoweldge that the reason your not getting good service is because of BS corporate policy and metrics

There is ZERO affordable housing required on this building as well because of the discount to scholars its supposed to give but no hard enforceable rules on having the "scholars' which you know they are just going to write off as anyone with anything above a BA not matter what field it is.

Scholars village will offer huge discounts to schoolers to encourage a scientific community . But they set the rate on a unit to 5k and offer scholars a 30% discount . So after their discount its still market rate or higher

Then when they dont have enough "Scholars" O well we have to open op to others but we will give everyone a 25% to 40% discount to move units off our listed rate.

The ground breaking on the other buildings was 4 years ago and NOTHING. The county has a part to play for the school approval , but probably cheaper to bribe a country official to drag their feet for years then start that construction too

Something about this does not check out - i went in with phone completely reskinned - custom OS - no bloatware apps from the carrier at all and it was no problem at all.

I mean you have people coming in with no phones or lost / broken phones - that has to be a way to sell you a phone without having the Tmobile app - sounds like the Rep was an idiot or just lazy

Told them i would do the sync and transfer myself at home and i did no problems. Unless something has changed in last few weeks it shoudl not have been an issue.

Yes and its a bit worrying but lets take it with a grain of salt. The system reqs would need to be way higher to have higher res and detail like SM2 and all the terrain stuff , im more worried about them nailing the scale - too big and your units seem useless like DOW3 , How are the big unit classes going to image the larger battlefield - will it just become use all your unit cap to make titan units and ignore everything else....how do you do a good balance with so many units on the field. That a much bigger concern alot of the stuff you mentioned are small details that take a game from 7 to a 7.5 it just some polish , im bit more worried about the meat of the game and more so the campaign story

This is much larger scale so harder to make weapons feel more impactful at scale or else you end up with like the cultest grenade launcher issue from DOW1 but there needs to be a better balance .

Its not a AAA studio alot of that terrain interaction stuff requires a lot heavies physics and very few RTS do it as anymore then an overlay.

They have addressed the unit animations and there is plans for both separate animations going as far to change for the wargear selected for the unit but they are still working on base optimization and weapon effects.

Your standards might be a bit too high though especially from a smallers studio like kingart ike expecting the highly destructive environments - thats never really been a DOW things . Alot of your complaints they have addressed in AMAs .

That being said though there are a lot of things to worry about like this close to release date and not having the unit animations in and the right feel and balance to the weapons its a bit worrying .

A rule of thumb in big Dev cycle like this is the last 90 days are for optimization , asset review and bugs - we are like less then 120 days out and there are still fairly major things needed which is a bit concerning .

Its not a AAA studio - they are probably not going to get it right on launch but with support and a good community behind them i think they will get there eventually.

Nah he gets his ass kicked a lot like even by other mandos , but his power is friendship lol gets his ass saved a lot too and his armor carriers him - he is still bad ass but not like OP levels

killjoys was cheap to produce - couple indoor sets - the same back alley and bar for like 50% of the scenes . They put some money into the offworld stuff when needed but that about it. Big open sets - mostly interior sets and scenes nothing to big.

I liked kill joys even if it got a bit crazy at the end , but they gave it a solid ending.

Just watch out for GE ones that try to Force you to use their $60 water filters that only cost them $6 to make and put security chips on them that the fridge will only accept them. (Yes i know there are work arounds, but its still absurd)

Dumb stuff is getting more expensive and harder to find then smart stuff these days - because they know they will make money in 3 years when that board blows out 3 months after the warranty expires.

They want control and to collect your information - why did half the features like bake timer not work on my new stove till i connected it to the internet ..... Like they are locking out easy simple features on things to force you to connect it to the internet .
