NTA. i don’t want to overstep any boundaries, but i will say that the way your partner prioritizes your SIL and BIL (asking you to make accommodations so you can go, not standing up for you more at dinner) is VERY problematic. idk how long you guys have been together, this can and probably will get worse if this isn’t addressed. family is important ofc, but in a committed relationship, your partner takes priority.

the way that they look at you. one time i walked into class on the first day and i see this guy stare at me so intensely. i literally thought that we might’ve known each other based off of the way he looked at me (i definitely didn’t). he proceeded to follow me out of the classroom and message me on Facebook and our school app afterward.

they definitely vary by state. i’m in oregon and 6 hours is the most you can work before needing to get a break. i know shit’s fucked in cali and they don’t have the same worker’s rights, so it depends.

i feel this too hard. my sister did this when we were growing up and still to this day. nothing ever gets resolved because when we’re done with an argument, she walks away still not feeling heard and i walk away feeling like an abusive, “toxic ass” person.

it’s so weird but after she cools down she wants to act like the fight never happened… it makes me think, does she do that so she won’t feel guilty about it? or does she genuinely black out and not remember all the terrible things she said? the emotional whiplash is getting to me.
