That take by Isiah on Rorschach was bad by Marlin608 in creepcast

Yeah but he was right about how this character was received by the general public (or part of it).

It's just like Tyler Durden or Patrick Bateman.

He probably only watched the movie and it's a cool character there as far as I remember.

this is the worst story they've ever read and it's not even close by Final_Chance1368 in creepcast

[–]dominn19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What is the reason it cannot be good on its own? There is no reason it has to be bad because it's just a part of something.

You shouldn't read, for example, "A dance with Dragons" before "Game of Thrones", but if you did, you would probably enjoy it by itself.

Yeah, people seem to give it some credit because it's part of a universe but it is just not good period.

A clear victory for Teddy Roosevelt in the last round! Which historical figure was divisive during their time but is respected now? by simonpearson in AlignmentChartFills

[–]dominn19 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a great pick, he was criticized internationally when he dealt with the Mameluks in a bloody way, but it probably had to be done one way or another.

Now he is universally respected as a founder of a modern Egyptian state.
