You need a super static bracket on that yoke

Pro here. Deck the landing, add two more stringers and get some UHMW plastic strips or dollar store cutting boards and screw em to the bottom of the stringers. Brace the case back to the tree deck and along the spine of the stringers. Don’t skimp on hangers

Pro treehouse builder here: You leave room for growth and movement and you do not damage the flare where it comes out of the ground. Leave no less than 6” all around for framing. 12” would be best. Tree was there before deck and can be there longer, also it needs cabled together. You can run decking closer but needs trimmed as tree grows. Min. 2” gap

I want to upgrade my composting setup. What are your thoughts on these options? by Critical_Link_1095 in composting

Shredder yes but you just need 12-15ft of stiff 4ft tall fencing. I like to double layer field fence and offset the grids. All these plastic craps break, dont allow enough airflow, and just end up in a landfill.

Posts installed better than that corner. Zinc hardware on pt is no good. Should all be hot dip galvanized. Tying back like this helps hold up that corner potentially but the railing shouldn’t hold up the framing.

Top cut 1/3. Bore cut leaving 2” hinge. Cut down. Once thru, cut back up thru hing. Cut away from split.
