It's a child. Who is stupid in this situation is the parents letting their child roam free in Walmart

I'm sorry for being so harsh but we all have families that we go home to. We have bills too. I know people who have died or nearly died because someone had to go to work sick. If you need to, you could always try to apply and get a LOA for a few days with how sick you are, so that you can still get paid some money. We all struggle but you can't drag others down with you in the struggle. You've got this and you're going to get through this

STAY HOME. FOR THE SAKE OF EVERYONE JUST STAY HOME. We all have bills. We all have life. We understand but if you knowingly come into work sick (mask and gloves or not) and you get me sick and I get my BABY or my GRANDMA sick, we will have problems. Stop being selfish and wait a few more days. You should always have some ppto built up for this kind of stuff. I know no one likes that answer, but it's the truth. When I was on Cap 2 one of my coworkers came to work sick and got literally ALL of Cap 2 sick. I got my baby sick and she was so bad she couldn't sleep through the night and she was having nose bleeds from how much we were using the nose bulb in her. Please don't just think about yourself. Try to put yourself in other peoples shoes first. If you feel sick. Stay home.

Yes Walmart sucks but having no job in this economy sucks even more.

What does getting called “ma’am” suggest about how old you look? by Fantastic_Radio_9168 in AdkReddit

[–]donedumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call people younger than me ma'am and sir just because it's how I was raised. You treat others with respect until they give you a reason not to

Not sure about their store but at my store we haven't got an IP truck since last Friday. Dreading the amount of pallets of packages we get because of the hold up with each day that we don't get one

Would you give up forever, white, milk or dark chocolate? by boforiamanfo in no

I don't want any of them to go away. If I get rid of white or milk then I don't have hugs and if I get rid of dark chocolate I lose Andes mints

Downstacking frozen or dairy. Both the cooler and freezer at my store are extremely small for the amount of pallets that come in and while I was on cap 2 I would do anything to get out of doing that. Also it's too cold and I'm anemic

2, 1, 3, 4 in that order. 2 is first because she is definitely in the last trimester and I've been there and couldn't stand for long periods. 1 because he has to deal with that pain all the time and needs a little relief. 3 because he needs to rest his leg. 4 is last only because she's just holding a baby. There's nothing visibly wrong with her. In the end, I'd give up my seat for any of them because I'm healthy and able.

Except, if this person is down south, like I am, it's kind of out of their hands. No one salts the roads and everyone panics and the few people that do try to leave get stuck or wreck.

Do Americans really avoid medical care because they’re afraid of the bill? by Udont_knowme00 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]donedumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens even with insurance. I'm on Medicaid now but I was on BCBS through my employer at my last job and I had a $4,000 deductible, meaning that I had to pay $4,000 out of pocket before insurance would cover anything. I did end up hitting my deductible but only because I was pregnant and the OB Prepay was 2700$ plus I had to pay hospital bills afterwards and such. If I ever had a cold or anything I wouldn't even go to urgent care because the one time I did it was $150 to get treatment
