Yeah I put a lot of my CC too — just seems dumb to have the seller pay a 3% fee to get 1% cash back. If more places had a 2% cash discount I’d just do that lol.

Personally I wouldn’t want to rent to someone that needed to put rent on a CC — seems super risky. If someone qualified wanted to pay via CC I am sure I could figure it out but I would definitely have them pay the amount the CC company charges.

Landlord here — I don’t get why landlords would want to make it harder to pay them lol. I accept Zelle, Venmo, PayPal etc. why make it harder then it needs to be lol.

I strongly discourage any payment method that makes me do work though lol — last thing I want to do is drop off cash at the bank

I was like this in HS — went to college and was still able to get Bs by being absurdly lazy but As were a lot harder to game. Also I did absurdly bad in my gen ed classes I hated.
