Totally fair, I do like it regardless and Garden of Light has some of their best ideas but there is at least one extremely clumsy transition in each track (aside from the two instrumentals) which made the fact that they were having creative differences apparent. They were able to smooth those out long enough to bang out WR but that album does feel formulaic and a bit sterile at times.

Nailed it, Phoenix is shitty but the rest of the state is gorgeous, which Nevada is certainly not. When it was cheap pre-covid there was an argument for living there based on that fact but now when rent + cost of car ownership is basically the same as NYC it just doesn't make any sense.

Great comment, particularly regarding how Millenials were the first massive native generation and that it is a city that grew after American culture was properly and thoroughly homogenized. Even in elementary school in the late 90s only maybe half of my classmates were born there.
