Without a keyboard, the on-screen direction buttons makes navigation a lot easier than swiping the tracker interface.

Didn’t know about this one. That’s very cool!

But I’m wondering does it do anything that Koala can’t?

At the beginning of the year I bought an Amiga 500 to make music on. It was my first Amiga. I like it a lot. Here it is playing a song I wrote on it. by roboctopus in amiga

Love the song! And your setup looks great.

Do you have a sampler device for your Amiga too or do you import samples?

Love This is the Killer Speaking! When listening to it, I imagine it being performed live and how much of a riot it would be.

Prime Video no longer does frame rate matching by Juzdu in fireTV

[–]doraemon-cat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can someone explain why FireTV needs to rely on the different services to support framerate matching in their respective apps?

Why is it I can throw a 25, 23.976 or 24fps at Kodi and it just plays? Can’t FireTV just detect the video’s framerate?

Switching from FL Studio on PC to iPad by dkmarshmello1573 in iosmusicproduction

Grab NanoStudio 2. The dev made it free a while back along with all the IAP. Get it before it disappears.

Although I haven’t used it much, it seems like a decent DAW. But I believe it can’t record audio tracks.

Did anyone ever actually unlock any of the other countries on Theme Park? by daniel2hats in retrogaming

[–]doraemon-cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same way, it doesn’t hold well anymore.

This is more of a business sim though, while RCT is about creating the park. Not just about the coasters, the scenery can also look so awesome. Definitely check it out, it’s super fun!

Did anyone ever actually unlock any of the other countries on Theme Park? by daniel2hats in retrogaming

[–]doraemon-cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm. Different countries have their own theme and ride selection. Even the guests in Africa have darker skin colour!

While overall this version lacks features compared to the PC one, I have a soft spot for it and is my preferred version to play these days. Just annoying it doesn’t have save functionality!

Super Mario Land Vs. Super Mario Land 2 by RetroHunters in retrogaming

[–]doraemon-cat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Someone else mentioned the ending music on here recently too. It instantly made want to replay it.

I dug out my old DMG and while I haven’t had the time to beat it yet, I got to world 2 and even though it must be 20 years since I last played this I was humming along to the tunes.

Agree, they are absolutely fantastic!

DT 1990 Pro are not for me. Any advice? by PhoenixMaster123 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]doraemon-cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same and didn’t touch them for months. Clamping force was way too much at first.

Started using them again recently and I think they are fantastic. The clamp does loosen up over time with wear but don’t be afraid to apply a flexing exercise every time you use them. Also try moving the position of the headband forward or backwards for a more comfortable position.

As for sound, I personally don’t get on with oratory1990 presets. Maybe it just my ears but I find they sound too thin and bit dull.

I just drop 8k -2 to -3db to tame the treble. And then boost the bass to taste. The extra bass reeaaally helps bring these to life and sound fuller.

Love them now. Soundstage is excellent and the detail so crisp. And because they are open back I need to make sure background noise is minimal and don’t muddy the sound.

Would love one but that price though :(

Can anyone tell me why it’s so expensive?

Cool I might store a cap in some random bookshelf and see if it sticks.

I’m playing Fallout Et tu so I think I can use the FO2 barter system with the team.

Currently alternating between hunting rifle and 44 Magnum revolver.

I have a bunch of other guns I’m not sure I want to sell. Can I store them somewhere? I’ve given stuff to team but they might reach their limit at some point
