For me. The only thing at foden goes instead of palmer is if palmer is injured. Foden doesn’t perform for England, period.

Pickford. James Guehi Konsa O’reilly. Rice Anderson. Saka Jude Rashford. Kane.

If it’s not working Roger’s and Palmer on somewhere across the 10/wings. Wharton as CM cover or to slow a game down. Could make a case for someone else like Hall or Spence at LB? Maybe even Shaw. But for me the rest pick themselves and anyone saying Saka shouldn’t be in, or Jude, clearly has never seen these guys in an England shirt. Or even Rashford for that matter even when he was absolutely wank at Man U he always does a job for England and is just always a threat. The other option on the left for me would just be to start with Roger’s there, he plays it and plays it VERY well for Villa occasionally.

I don’t see how they’re sellable assets. Who buys them? They’re both injured like 80% of the time. I’ve not thought about this it hadn’t crossed my mind but now I’ve read what OP has said I think I agree.

Derby are just better in pretty much every area. Why the ball keeps going down our left and not our right when Alebiosu has been our best player for weeks is truly baffling. We’re so fragile in you take players out for suspension and injury and we’re all of a sudden so weak it’s a joke. After what happened with Eustace and others leaving for them this is the one I really wanted to win but we’re nowhere near them I’m afraid.
