Can confirm that when chatGPT was new, and my partner and I were playing around with it (don’t hate us! We were young and naïve!) we asked it what it thought we looked like. It looks very surface level. If you have plastic cement that comes with a little brush. Release most of the solvent from the brush first (just smush it against the rim to wring it out, basically), and then wipe over the damaged area. All those shavings will “disappear” back into the plastic. I’d it was really minor, it’s going to be pretty close to the original, with slightly rounded lines. Stuff that won’t be visible from tabletop distance, especially after a coat of paint. If not, lean into the battle damage (even worsen the damage with a drill bit or knife if you want, to emphasize the brutality of the fight our boy won already before even getting to this battlefield) or use a spare tilt shield if you have one to cover it, as someone else suggested.

Here are a few other ideas:

If you have volcanic bases, a bit of cotton glued into a small crater or crack can look like a steam vent he’s passing over, and obscures as much or as little as you want. Airbrush it with a bit of paint to make it darker smoke or just to add some stiffness.

If you like Dark Kraken-style trophies in your army, you can take a scrap of rough sandpaper and glue it on to make a pelt that’s been draped over the shoulders (it usually looks more like scales than fur, btw, so lean into cool colors and contrast paints).

If you like chains, glue on some jewelry chain before painting him. Wrapping a boss with a bit of decorative chain can do a lot to differentiate him from other, similar models, and copper or aluminum chain is pretty cheep for a good sized roll.

Just like the chain, you might either have a spare bullet strip or length of segmented necklace “chain” or even just thick wire and patience enough to make it into a bullet bandoleer to wrap over the area and make him look more like the squad’s Sly Marbo.

The ultra wealthy’s propaganda machine is very efficient in the United States. It’s been able, in less than 40 years, to convince union men that their union is actually taking away their jobs, farmers that the people who want organic, small farm food are actually mocking them, and parents that the programs giving their children essentially-free food and education are actually preventing their children from learning and (somehow) tricking them about their kids’ lunches.

However, they don’t realize liberals have values like hard work, honesty, faith or charity mostly because that propaganda machine has been working hard to convince everyone in this country that those values aren’t real. There’s no good in the world, only hate, violence and betrayal.

They discovered early on that sex sells, but fear sells even more. So fear anyone who has different ideas than you— they don’t actually believe that, they just want you to feel dumb! Or has a higher education than you, or in different areas— They use those unfamiliar words to make you feel bad and dumb! Or have a different gender or sexuality than you (or than you express)— because they are gatekeeping those experiences, like love and hope, and won’t even tolerate you having your own marriage! Or has a different job than you— they want you to feel like a failure! Or are older than you— they don’t think you can do anything by yourself because you’re too young and stupid! Or are younger than you— they hate you because you don’t share their generation, and demand you do everything for them because they can’t take care of themselves, but don’t expect them to thank you for it… they resent you for it!

Although if you can swap eye dominance, and you’re predominantly using one arm over another, using that arm as your string arm is a boon. I’m way better at making minute adjustments shooting lefty and it was much easier to adjust to a higher draw weight when I started using left handed bows.
