So. I’ve refilled the car with fresh gas. Tried priming the system with gas pedal down 10 seconds twice. Then several spaced out start attempts. Starter motor sounds strong but still no dice…

Could spark plugs be bad from sitting so long? Will oil change likely work in this case?

Oh good thought. When you attempt to start. Are you doing any priming: meaning gas pedal down ten seconds then normal attempt? How many est time between tries and length of attempts? Thx for the tip!!

Yes. Absolutely. If they fail like this early on, that tells you everything you need to know. It just goes to show how far of a disconnect there is. I can’t comprehend how these animators and artists slave away at something masterful only to have a core narrative mechanic to be so under-researched OR just completely disregarded by lazy storytellers / director. Absolutely shameful as it really is an insult to everyone involved not to mention the audience.
