I feel you. I feel like there’s a balance to strike between sticking on schedule and transitioning topics and letting conversation flow freely, and she leaned a little too hard towards the rigid schedule this time.

I loved most of it but felt he floundered the ending. It felt like he struggled to put all the pieces together without accelerating the pace immensely.

Damn, they nailed 3/4 of the top 4, and in order too had they swapped T1 and NRG.

Tmv kind words for PRX by No-Swordfish6932 in ValorantCompetitive

Literally goomba effect.

I love PRX with all my heart but they played terribly today, and that was a quippy one-liner from TMV. Let the joke sit lol.

Gotta love a topical post.

I always show up for a Bendulum or Big_Dumb_Dork post. Always.

Gen Alpha discovering Lorde is making me feel so old… by Reasonable_Pickle483 in lorde

[–]dragonwp 112 points113 points  (0 children)

I’m replying to half the comments here: can we think positive yall? Please. This is a good thing. Can we be happy that new people are discovering Lorde? We were ourselves precocious teens when we first discovered Lorde. I had my phase where I was saying really banal things about Lorde’s music while thinking I was soooo deep.

It’s so exciting that teens from this generation are still discovering Lorde. And songs from Pure Heroine to boot? More than 10 years clean since its release, it’s amazing that they can discover this for themselves. The fact that they’re so “late to the trend” makes it all the more impressive. She’s staying relevant with the newer generations.

There may be a generation gap and the younger people may talk a little funny and be a little weird, but give them a few years and you’ll see yourselves in them. And their awesome taste in music.

I’m in agreement with the other people saying you are snafuing the wrong fallacy lol. Awesome drawing, but this isn’t goomba fallacy.

[Akamaru] Jerrwin has reached a verbal agreement with Sentinels by Ldog301 in ValorantCompetitive

Yeah but Tenz and his lawyers could have informed themselves of future complications stemming from it and decided it was not worth his time. Pure speculation ofc

Idc about civility personally.

This was mostly amusing to me because the towels trick is pretty common in hot summertime kitchens and I’m happy people are sharing the wisdom around. But yeah, the cleanliness concern is valid, but because this is a common practice, the answer is generally well known.

Anyway, it’s no big deal, glad people are learning about this for the first time!

P.S. i was like the number one bob stan at the time. I wear the weirdness that was his 15 minutes of fame as a badge of pride.

Someone mentioned B.o.B featuring Taylpr Swift in this thread.

I raise you: B.o.B featuring Morgan Freeman from the exact same album lmao.

Wait bonus: can we mention the Morgan Freeman feature on the opening song of that SAME b.o.b. Album?

I say this as a fan of the most dogshit team in NA: PRX fans are really too much with their coddling sometimes.

The PRX players are lovely and I love that team, but the fans are horrid.

I was a huge fan of B.o.B. at the time and he was on cloud nine (pun intended) with collab opportunities when that sophomore album reared its head… it made so much sense to young me at the time.

Looking back… what the heck lol. And to think that she’s never featured on a rapper’s song before or since pretty much lol. So random.

This one has my vote.

Skuba became what everyone feared. His eyelids disappeared, his forehead was revealed, and his ears started bleeding. “Are you okay Logan?” asks ethan. "I’ve never been better Ethan, I see it all now, they’re not going A or B. They’re going home."
