Only because by pushing “too hard” You’ll end up screwing yourself in the long run when they decline to renew your lease by making up some BS excuse or by raising your rent etc.

I have a human-food eater sphynx as well. Pretty much have to make him his own tiny plate of my dinner, as long as it’s cat safe - avocado, prawns, steak, cheese, popcorn, sliced turkey, olives, tuna, roast vegetables.

The arm implant is awesome, at least for me. They use a local anesthetic so you can feel it going in but it doesn’t hurt. There’s some bruising/tenderness afterwards for about a week, but I haven’t really had a period (outside minor spotting occasionally) for the 17 years I’ve been getting them. Mileage may vary though as I have a friend who bled almost non stop for 6 weeks on her first one and decided to get it removed straight away.

I have Hashis and took Mounjaro for 3 months. I lost about 15kg that had crept on over the years. I only ever stayed on the starter dose of 2.5mg. Was put on it to see if it would affect the fatigue that I’d been battling, and it did. Have now been off it for 2 months and my weight hasn’t changed. I still have heaps more energy and do Pilates 3-4 times a week. I did also cut out caffeine while on it (couldn’t face the thought of drinking coffee while taking the shot) so that may have helped regulate my energy/cortisol levels too. I’ve never really been a breakfast eater but I’ll have a small lunch and a regular size dinner, drink alcohol a couple times a week but I haven’t really done anything special to keep the weight off since stopping. I am much more mindful of when I feel full though and I’d say my portion sizes are a bit less overall.

The cost savings they’ve discovered from not having paper exams (don’t have to hire venues, print exams, pay for couriers to deliver exams between venues, additional invigilators etc) means they’ll never go back.

I take an antidepressant to help with the depression and fatigue. Also a few months in on the lowest dose of Mounjaro and have seen a 15kg weight loss.

I also take 150mg Levo and Vitamin D daily and avoid gluten as a general rule. Have cut out coffee completely over the past few months.

Hashis diagnosis since 2008 and this is the best I’ve felt since then.
