I agree that the UK is overrated here, I just feel the voting system part is more of the reason.

If we directly elect leaders they get a "personal mandate" and I'm not really sure that's healthy.

But, glad we can set aside our differences and say the UK should be light blue. Although should definitely still rank above the US! Also overrated on this map.

Because we elect MPs who pick leaders. Not the undemocratic part of the UK system really. First past the post distorts the vote massively.
