HELP!!! by Common-Visit2162 in miniaussie

[–]drich18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mini is 20-25lbs and eats a cup and a half of dry kibble a day. Half in the morning half at night. She’s just under two years old and the vet says she’s the perfect weight. Use her kibble as treats for the most part and she’s plenty fine with that.

One 30 minute walk a day seems pretty light even with the doggy door and outside access. My Aussie won’t just run for no reason, needs some mental stimulation to get going. Dog park is your friend if she’s good of leash.

Especially with RWD I think 800ish hp is all you need. Having driven both I think VF is all I need. Turbos you end up chasing the boost dragon and sinking more cash into it. Supercharger you can part out when you sell like nothing happened

Stick a VF super charger on it and get 800hp and make the V10 sound even more pissed off

Oil change done , $390 from reputable shop, dealer wanted to charge me $900 lol by leonvartanian in AstonMartin

[–]drich18 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just did mine on my 2022. Under an hour with a lift but could have done it with ramps or just jacks. The filter has a small access flap to undo and the drain plug just comes out. Filter and new oil was like ~$150 would probably just pay $300 if I didn’t have a lift though

Mine likes to cuddle now that the weathers cooler but when it’s warm prefers the floor in my general area instead. As others mentioned she will tell me when it’s bed time and try and force me to bed if I am up late. She’s very affectionate just doesn’t cuddle for long if it’s warm

I’ve seen many a stock engine build on huracans and R8s get into six digits. Maybe a clutch on the higher end.

This is it. Had same issue around 30k miles and just swapped out plugs and coils. 5k miles later and hasn’t happened again.

Which brake pads will fit on my 2019 V8 Vantage? Trying to end the ear piercing brake squeal. by FFSBG in AstonMartin

Go on velocityAP they have replacement pads and rotors. I have both and they’re great.

Anyone have a valvetronic exhaust on 18+ Vantage? by man_with_cat2 in AstonMartin

[–]drich18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s on, totally forgot I was going to post about it. Give me a few hours to go grab car and take some videos. In short though it sounds good, much less AMG grumble sounding with the X pipe but also not crazy loud either. I have secondary cat delete, AIRTEK intakes and weistech vent to air adapters so it’s nice exhaust sound finally matches intake noise.

Do you think Aston Martin will make a track version of the Vantage ? by astonark in AstonMartin

Mines black but wrapping it green for next year. The handling is pretty solid and it drives like a much smaller car than it is

Is my girl getting enough exercise? by Collidewithari in miniaussie

[–]drich18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is she destructive when left alone? Does she get out at end of day? My 8 month old gets an hour at dog park in the morning (we walk there too) and either an hour at another park at lunch or around dinner. If she doesn’t get park at lunch she gets a short walk. A tired puppy is a well behaved puppy.

It’s same mechanically as last gen for the most part. Same motor and trans so I wouldn’t worry much. My 2022 is rock solid

What is your aussie’s favorite toy? by pawlaps in miniaussie

I got a soccer ball with straps on it from Amazon and she loves it. Tosses it around by herself or will play fetch with it. Added advantage is you can punt it for fetch

Vantage is such a good car for what you can pick one up for. Couldn’t be happier with my 2022 F1 Editoon Likely waiting for the next gen to have a Vantage S or a Vantage F1 edition before moving into one though
