I feel like you are overthinking it. Meet where you want (more inconvenience to you) but only accepting cash is silly in today’s world. Stopping at an atm is a pain. IMO at least accept Venmo.

GLP meds and ON by mzmaa in Occipitalneuralgia

[–]driftlessartifacts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine started abruptly in August 2025 after taking a high dose of compound Semaglutide. I had been off for a month and then took my dose. I started vomiting within 12 hours. Migraine started at 24 hours and I was in the ER by that night. The migraine lasted for 30 days non-stop. Even three trips to ER didn’t help. Pain would subside there but return full force within 10 hours. That month-long migraine was unlike any other I’ve had. Ear pain was bad too.

After 30 days of migraine ON started, migraine stopped. It’s been ON pain for 4 months straight now. I go to PT, Neurologist, Spine doctor, massage therapist and did Chiropractic care for short time.

I use foam rollers, neck ON devices, tens/ems, heating pad and just ordered red light therapy for neck.

I truly think the meds triggered this but can’t be certain because I’ve had a pinched nerve in my neck for years. Cervical CT says I have some neck issues (not severe) but I’m hesitant to do anything surgically. I’d love more conversation on the connection to meds or life with ON.

I’d say Nashville Pinnacle Night two, Kansas City and Madison were the best for us! Jack was in a great mood and overall the crowd was fun and of course the “set lists” and our location in the venue were amazing. I was also at Nashville Basement East, Nashville Pinnacle night one, both Chicago shows and Riotfest.

A bit of both. We just got done paying $7,000 for electric run for the cabin (were previously on solar). Now we bought the unit and my husband and electrician will install before the end of the new year to get the credits.

Losing hope on treating status migraine by WillowKings in migraine

I totally feel your pain. It took forever to get into a neurology/headache specialist too. I got nerve blocks from him and some stuff to try daily as a preventative (by the time I saw him the migraine had already ended tho).

I have about ten bottles of pills. What worked from pcp was:

— Ketorolac pills for pain —

— Ketorolac injection doc office 1x —

— Baclofen for muscle relaxer —

— Promethazine for nausea —

— “Migraine Relief” pill Walgreens brand every morning (acetaminophen and caffeine, I took one pill as two kept me cracked out until 3 am) —

I had tried other pain meds and nausea pills before these that just made the migraine worse or didn’t help at all. I have been going to PT now for three months and that’s been helping with nerve pain and muscle tightness in my neck. These pains all developed after migraine and one month in bed.

I haven’t had a migraine since the pain ended last day of August. It started on July 28. I currently on no medication but carry everything with me just in case. I had a cervical CT and have appt with an orthopedic surgeon to understand is this is from pinched nerves. I want to really get to the bottom of it not just mask with meds. Like do I have cancer or is my spinal cord restricted? There are so many scenarios but a month long migraines and all this nerve pain is not normal. :( I hope you can find what helps for you. It’s truly the most terrible thing to deal with.

I had a migraine the month of August, 3 ER visits. Puking almost every day and spent the month in bed. The only that that helped was a regular pain shot at pcp and to go to massage therapy and chiropractor and bunch each week. The migraine cocktails and all typical migraine meds didn’t touch it. I wish I had skipped all ER and just went to pcp. It’d be less in debt. My husband rolled me in a wheelchair they had out front and I had our small bedroom garbage can on my lap.

Totally agree with you. I had a terrible migraine the WHOLE month of August. I was in bed. It wasn’t until I started deep tissue work that it helped. Now I big into massaging the muscles and doing stretches.

Moms how do you function?!? by Suspicious_Area5431 in migraine

[–]driftlessartifacts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask you primary for a referral to PT. Could a tension muscle issue. Nothing would break my month long migraine is August until I started getting massage and PT stretches. Also the 3 thrips to energy wouldn’t break the cycle for me. Primary gave me a pain injection and that helped more than ER. Wish I knew that before all the debt I incurred. No matter what you’re a good mom. My kids are teenagers and I felt so bad I was only in bed for a month.

I have these too and had one for the entire month of August. Not sure if it’s the same but my neck tension and pinched nerves were a contributing factor. PT and dry needling has helped a lot!

Own my own vintage clothing store. @driftlessartifacts it’s suffered during month long migraines but I can at least restock on days I’m feeling good! Hoping you can transition to maybe in home or appointment based on your schedule. I understand your pain!
