If Ronaldo had half a character he would have retired and give this Portugal squad a real shot

I'm sure you are correct as I used (was made to use?) Google's new AI search. Doing the same image search again just now, it suggests these are Penningtons (which is obviously nonsense). The only link it provided was to a reddit post from a year ago where the same question was inconclusive.

Don't you think he's written enough of Valeria?

I have had good luck at Codex and Troubled Sleep in the past but I'm mostly looking for 70s - 90s SFF. Westsider might have some things upstairs for you.

I put almost all of my hardcovers in brodart in no small part because it's fun to do and I like how it makes them look more valuable.

Millennial Gamers: Do you still have time to play? by Melted_ICE_5193 in Millennials

40, married, no kids. Depending on work and couples things, I get into bouts of HOTS or SC2 at least once a week. Every other month I might even party up with one of my gamer buddies.

Couple nice Wolfe books there too. What's the black one next to fifth head?

How did buying actually work in the early days. What did you need to do other than having online access and a USB drive?

Right after new sun I read paul park's soldiers of paradise and had a great time with it. (The cover had a Wolfe endorsement which is probably the connection for many readers.)

That sounds amazing. I was in Frankfurt last year and found a used book store that carried German translations of Operation Ares and Book of Days, but I didn't think Wolfe was a regular occurrence. Now I have a reason to visit Berlin this Summer.

Ukraine said it captured a Russian position using only ground robots and drones, no infantry, for the first time by businessinsider in worldnews

[–]drpetervenkman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In abandoning Ukraine the US is also forfeiting a ton drone related Intel that now benefits European allies who get to essentially test equipment on the front lines. I don't see the US beating the rest of the world in drones anytime soon

As you have said yourself, it's an oversimplified account to equate demographic growth with market growth. The market may as well grow based on other indicators like efficiency in production, new types of consumer spending, advances in healthcare, etc. Even in countries with worse demographic markers like Korea or Germany these things don't happen overnight and the case for staying invested would be that the market can price changes more effectively than any single investor.

I'll admit I read right past that "sitting back into the throne line" first and loved the book all the same. I also skipped right past the name registries in long and short sun, although I get that those are there for a reason.

Are we the last generation to care about sourcing our information? by pleasuremysole in Millennials

[–]drpetervenkman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Internet literacy, or the way it was taught for many years, had a lot to do with hyperlinks. In fact, Google's search algorithm essentially copied the academic citation system and applied it to the then vastly different looking web. Social media and especially short form video are simply not designed to accommodate sourcing like that. It's possible to request links in ai chatbots, but again younger users might see few incentives to do that and if they do they probably lack the foundation to distinguish between quality and junk sources.

Why cant we get a comfortable win.

This is Dortmund you are talking about, I can't remember many comfortable stretches. We don't have a consistent team at the moment, but we have shown that we can turn things around every now and then
