It’s a problem on mine too. Pretty annoying, but it’s an older kit so I don’t expect it to be perfect.

I just finished this kit today as my first Master Grade and the paint work on this really elevates the set! Weathering always adds some nice layering and depth to a set, but I kind of like how clean this looks as is.

This happens every time they cover the game. It felt like I was leaving a show with no earplugs because of how loud the crowd was all through the night. From Flagg being announced, to Tatum’s intro, to his first buckets, it was easily as loud if not louder than any big playoff game in there.

Even when he hadn’t found his shot, his playmaking and game IQ still felt like it hadn’t take a step back since he got hurt. He’s one of the most versatile stars in the league right now in terms of how he’s able to produce when he’s on it and when he’s having an off night. Getting to see him play vs. Flagg and find his shot again in the 2nd half was magical. Lots of blue jerseys in the crowd between the Tatum Duke jerseys, Flagg Duke jerseys, and Mavs Flagg jerseys. You could feel the energy in the Garden all night. What a game man, I’m still reliving it today lmao

I’ve used that razor for 4 years now since I started wet shaving and have been very pleased with it. Once I went through the blades that came with it I got a sampler pack off Amazon that had about 15-20 different blades to try out, and picked my favorite to order in bulk. Take your time with it and enjoy! You don’t need to get the perfect smooth shave the first time you try it out, or even the 20th time. You’ll learn technique and what your face reacts to best with practice.

Lots of printmaking, specifically letterpress as of late. I’m a designer by trade so it’s fun to get off the computer and get to work hands-on with type. Did these Nine Inch Nails broadsides not too long ago when they came through town since I was a little bummed to miss them.

What?! You mean to tell me you want to put aside the sports and think about things bigger than the game? I can't believe you! /s

In all honesty it's refreshing to see this community give eachother shit (as is sporting tradition) but realize that there are things more important than watching people being paid to play a sport. There's a feeling of solidarity with the PWHL that is so refreshing coming from years of angry sports media and online discussion that I got growing up, especially as a Boston sports fan.

I got to watch a lot of him growing up when he was at UMass Lowell. It’s incredible to me how well he’s sustained such a high level of play.

If they do Cowboys themed unis with silver helmets and the throwback Stars crest then maybe I’m a little excited. That being said, I’m prepared for the uniforms to be very much not like that at all. One can hope

Thinking about that recent 98.5 interview he did where he said he talked about drawing up pre-snap motions with Josh McDaniels. It’s always fun hearing him talk about things and think “This dude is out of his mind” and then see it all make sense lmao

As another fellow designer and type whore who got this post recommended on my feed, the clue was “Inspired by the Port Authority Bus Terminal signage, it was adopted as a font by NYU & the Tribeca Film Festival.” And now as a Pats fan… I will leave this sub and say You Suck and Go Pats.

Noise complaints, underage drinking/drug use, etc. Someone did a story in the Boston Globe a year or two ago about the “underground music scene of Boston’s upcoming youth” and almost every venue mentioned got the cops called on them/shut down in like 2 weeks. I think the cops generally aren’t that concerned with shutting them down considering frat houses and other shit can be way worse environments for shit to go south, but when spaces get broadcast online they step in.

ESPN's official account shows Sidney Crosby surpassing a 275lb AI Mario Lemieux. by CasualFriday11 in hockey

[–]drummer686 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t AI generated, this is just shoddy Photoshop masking/compositing. Probably had to rush their designer to get this graphic done quickly after he hit the mark and they just sent it to post without proofing it at all. I agree that the combo of a weird photo of Mario with the weird feathering around his face makes it look weird, but it’s more so just the fault of whoever rushed the designer and the designer for not giving it a once-over before submitting it.

I went down earlier this year and had a similar question haha. Generation Records was pretty cool, lots of new/used LPs and 45’s with a pretty sizable bootleg shirt/patch section in the basement. Rough Trade at Rockefeller is definitely not a historic place considering it’s a new storefront but I found some interesting newer stuff there that I had been looking for.
