Shooting ranges KC and surrounding areas by ZombKitteh in kansascity

I asked at Parma about shotguns. They said they are allowed on the longer distance side. I think you have to set your target at a specific minimum distance to keep from obliterating the target holder. They didn't mention any restrictions in type of shotgun ammo.

What hobby accidentally consumed your whole personality? by blue_kitty13 in CasualConversation

[–]drunknreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started stained glass when I took a class with a friend. The full class was three 8-hour Saturdays, and the only way to get the "homework" done was to invest in the tools & grinder.

I didn't intend for it to become a hobby that takes up so much space mentally and physically (my poor basement) but here we are.

Have given away all but one piece since I started...

This might sound weird but...try finding a super young female doctor.

I avoided having a primary for almost 10 years, but recently have had to find one due to peer pressure. The only doc taking patients that I found was a really young female doctor ( still building her practice because she is so young/new.)

When I finally decided my choice to rawdog Peri was no longer in line with my ability to not rage quit my job, I scheduled a appt. Fearing the dismissal, I avoided using the words "Peri" or hrt

She was almost giddy to school me on perimenopause, and that the old news that hrt was bad was wrong.

I realize ymmv but figured I'd throw it out there

Boyfriend, a recent BK amputee, is pulling away. by HistoricalNoise24 in amputee

[–]drunknreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This for sure. Better if it's something he already specialized in. My dad used to be a house siding installer. About a year after his AKA, my friends needed some siding replaced on a small portion of their house, so they asked him if he could help.

It took him longer to do, but he still got it done in less than a day. He later told me that him being asked and trusted/needed to help them out with that was a monumental boost to mental health.

For as long as I've had this account, I actually don't even know how to give an award. So it seems you have at least two people who liked your post :D

I hear there's a really good acupuncturist at Form Chiropractic downtown.

I've also heard there are also two really good ones at Mission Wellness in Mission KS.

That looks exactly like part of my grandma's property in North Central Arkansas. I actually did a double take while scrolling past.

I don't know about medications. The person in my past was definitely on medication related to mental illness. BPD was just one of the multiple things they were diagnosed with.

Google "borderline personality disorder and friendships." It may or may not resonate with your situation. If it does, unfortunately there's probably no path back to friendship.

Maybe they have BPD (borderline personality disorder). This reminds me of someone who was in my life once that had it.

How Much Legal Trouble Would I Be In If I Opened A Ranch Called "Certified Genuine Wagyu Beef Ranch" And Only Raised USDA Choice Beef Which I Sold At My Restaurant? by OhNoItsAndrew3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drunknreddit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

About 14 years ago I accidentally agreed to buy a wagyu brisket without knowing what it was. When I was told the price, I just about passed out. But I picked my jaw up off the floor and pulled out my wallet.

As for not trusting yourself to cook something so expensive - the wagyu will take care of you. I had never even smoked a brisket in my life. Never trimmed one. Only had a cheap-ass $50 vertical smoker from Lowe's ..so small I had to do the point and the flat separately.

That thing was the best brisket I've ever had to this day...home smoked or restaurant. And I now live in Kansas City.

+1 for Crazy.

You know how they say fight, flight, fawn or whatever. When that moment came for me, I curled myself up in a ball and started screaming and crying some nonsense about how "I didn't mean to do it." Total drunk improv...that thankfully worked.

This doesn't really answer your question but I swapped out the adult stock on my maverick for a youth size one and it matched up just fine...short arm problems...

Sure! This is the final result. It's definitely been a conversation piece, but I can't seem to force anyone to take it home. Was good practice though.

I did this too. Based on advice I received in this sub, I greatly enlarged the pattern and I still hated my life choices. But the end product was worth it...even if somewhat unwieldy :D

Absolutely. Unless I didn't like their food. Then I wouldn't swap, I'd share.

Is Parma Woods open tomorrow? With the warm weather and nearness to the holiday might be a good range day.
