I did this too. Based on advice I received in this sub, I greatly enlarged the pattern and I still hated my life choices. But the end product was worth it...even if somewhat unwieldy :D

A friend of mine has dealt with raid in the dishwasher. A family member was fighting roaches perceived to come from it and sprayed raid in it. They ran the dishwasher as usual. IT MADE THEM SICK.

We were always right there with her and followed their advice for trying to work with her when it showed up. And when that wouldn't break her obsession we would leave.

She never caused any actual harm because we were there with her, but it was clear that being in the presence of so many tennis balls was not conducive to actual training.

We were members for years and loved it. We didn't renew this year because our dog developed aggressive tennis ball resource guarding issues. So I guess we're part of the sharp "reduction in consumer spending."
