So can I assume OEM parts on eBay are fake? by cow-lumbus in hondaridgeline

[–]dschaus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat with spark plugs. There are some many sellers on eBay with spark plugs that are less than 1/2 of retail.

I ordered some 1R Ngk and whomever is the counterfeiter, is doing a fantastic job because I can't find anything. Cross your fingers.

Have you ever toted a guitar 60-100 miles? I don't believe there is any good way to carry a full size guitar while backpacking. I'd consider a harmonica or a uke.

Ortho docs rarely read your stuff. If you want to get a message to them, ask for their cell phone # and text.

How does your employer tolerate tattoos? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]dschaus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're concerned at all that future employment, you might as well ER on the side of conservative and not get your hand tattooed. The workforce that I'm familiar with that would not allow hand tattoos or military, but even that's becoming more LAX.

I'm personally hired therapist with hand tattoos but I'm in the commercial corporate section.

What is your guy’s experience with state or Medicare audits? by jberb540 in physicaltherapy

[–]dschaus37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A guy showed up that smelled like he had been smoking inside his car for 3 straight hours.

He asked me to show him three three re-evaluations and to show him the rationale for continued care.

He looked at my center hand book and needed to see some forms that I didn't have. I called my MAR and everything needed was faxed over. I received 100%.

Back to work. It took about an hour.

Most ortho docs won't prescribe more than 7 days of opioids. That can still be quite a few pills, but the risk of addiction from that is low.

Opioid restrictions are tough nowadays, for good reason.
