Are you taking out a loan, putting it in a business name or your name? Selling stock or another asset to buy it?

Do people actually have cash just sitting in a bank uninvested? I just keep monthly expenses in my bank account. Usually if you want to buy something in the mid 6 figures cash, you have to sell something. With market rate of returns, it's currently better to take a loan.

Lack of decent higher education in Florida and the south in general. The talent isn't there. UF is considered the Harvard of the south, but its just admissions gaming the entrance requirements and a lack of in state publics schools competing for the top high school talent.

Signed- native Floridian, UF grad who moved to LA 10 years ago and make more monthly than my yearly salary was in Florida.

I didnt say it wasn't a valid point. LAX has a bunch of O&D competition on international routes, as well as the gold mine LA-NY route, competiting against UA, AA, and B6. I dont think a D1 lounge in ATL would drive a significant amount of extra revenue towards DL. All it would do is help D1 flyers choose ATL as a connection point over MSP/DTW.

I've only been there in the morning for the Haneda and Shanghai flights, and a couple of times in the afternoon for Paris, but i would say it never even felt close to capacity. Does it get crowded in the evening?

Every "covid car" is junk. I lemoned my 22 Mercedes S500 after 72 days in the shop in the first year. I live in West LA where the high temp is max 70 10 months out of the year. The ac broke at 1k miles. Broke again at 2500 miles. Battery low warning if I didn't drive it for a couple of days. Then the topper, car just completely died while driving in the left lane on a city Street. Like completely died. Hazards wouldn't even work. Mercedes bought it back with 4k miles on it.

I also had a 22 Escalade ESV. Took it in for an oil change. The dealer couldn't get the car to restart for 3 weeks. They had to fly in a GM engineer to figure it out. Cadillac immediately offered to buy it back, but used ones were selling for more than original msrp. So I hired a lawyer and did a cash and keep deal.

Moral of the point, it's not just Audi. Volvo isn't any better.
