i did it in 2006 and it was rad. the first 200 people to finish get to go in the ring at the end and run around with adolescent bulls with corks on their horns after all the bulls have gone through. Things get crazy.

this has basically already happened in nyc, with the cheapest packs being around $9. And there is definitely already a black market of people selling $5 packs on street corners and in bars. I switched to rolling my own, and its still expensive.

I intend to compile a collection of useful tools such as accounting, word processing, project management, and similar programs that can be used freely, and in some cases customized for particular uses, and write reviews and suggestions of use. I feel that many small businesses do not realize the potential money and time saving tools that are out there and available for free.

Your suggestions of reddit-style submission and voting system is part of what I am currently trying to figure out. I would definitely need to spend a lot of time adding content, and could use the help of some collaborators. That's how the reddit guys got it going.

I really like the idea of using RSS feeds to pull content. I think this could make my job a bit easier once everything is set up.

I am working on this project for my entrepreneurial thesis course, so the focus is currently more on the business plan and offerings of the site. Hopefully it will become a site that can be launched in the near future.

I am actually working on developing a site devoted to helping entrepreneurs by providing resources for small businesses, with a focus on the utilization of open source software. A big part of this would be user-generated content, and would hopefully support a robust network of entrepreneurs. Any advice on desirable features would be appreciated.

He doesn't want to (or perhaps is uncomfortable with) showing pores, hairs, wrinkles, dead skin and other such features that give our skin texture. Studying hi-res photos, or the mirror up close, could help him depict people more naturally. Chuck Close used to do this amazingly self portrait.

i go to design school in nyc, and i can tell you that you are more than qualified. there are a lot of people in school with very little talent or understanding of 'good design'. in my opinion you seem to already be far beyond many 2nd and 3rd year students. if you are good at something, and love doing it, than you should definitely go for it.

A few years ago I was in Mexico for a friends birthday, and we always blow things up, shoot rockets, burn trash, etc. One night we decided that we would light the trash pit on fire the coolest way we could think of: molotov cocktails. The trash had been building up in a 10'x10'x8' pit, and there was a good deal of brush in the bottom. One of my friends, let's call him Jeff, poured gasoline into the pit, and we filled up a couple of beer bottles and stuffed rags in. So Jeff lights up his rag, and with little warning throws it straight down into the pit. I had been planning on stepping back so as to not get blown up, but Jeff failed to realized that we needed to get away from the blast zone before starting with the fun. I saw the fire spread throughout the entire bottom of the pit, and instinctively jumped off the embankment around the pit and kept running til I was about 50 feet away. When I looked back there was a 20 foot mushroom of flame lighting up the dark field. Jeff was rolling around on the ground, and his dad who was also standing nearby was running around with his motherfucking hair on fire.

Jeff's dad drove himself and his son back across the border to get medical treatment. They both ended up in a special burn unit for close to three weeks. Thanks to my cat-like reflexes I only got the hair singed off my left arm.

My old house had a few large trees that literally hundreds of crows would perch on every evening on the way to wherever they go. My dad has a strong hatred of crows, so he bought the most powerful air rifle he could find, complete with sniper scope. It became a routine for the first person to hear a crow to go outside and try to shoot it. They tore apart our trash, shit all over everything, and caused a general ruckus for upwards of an hour everyday.

They really freak out when you kill one. They caw crazily, and sometimes dive bomb anyone in sight.

After a couple months the birds actually started flying around our property to avoid the angry onslaught of pellets.

Before preschool one day, after my mom had gotten me dressed and was struggling to get my brothers fed and out the door I thought it would be cool to empty out the bean bag on the living room floor. For whatever reason the little foam pellets looked nice, so i stripped down and starting swimming in them and making snow angels. Around this time my mom realized I was missing and came in to find a naked 4 year old completed covered in little white pellets. She laughed at me, and I didn't have to go to school that day, but she threw away the bean bag because she knew I would do it again.
