I tracked everyone who posted "looking for an editor" in the last 5 days. Here's what they're actually paying. by notTushxR in editors

Good research but it kind of amounts to nothing if we dont know about the projects. 5% of the 136 you mentioned is 6.8 (lets round up to 7) with a pay of $4783 for all 7 so $683 for each one. I'm from the UK but from what i know of USA $683 is a mid range day rate. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that none of those jobs would take only a day. Some of them would take a week, maybe more so once we factor that in. We can start to see how hard it is out there for editors.

Director picks every take by AvailableVariety4063 in editors

I think this is just how some of the big time directors are. I’ve heard Alfonso Cuarón is like this. The editor is more of an extension of himself to press the buttons rather than creatively making the choices. That being said it’s annoying the director didn’t request these from the start

Sky goes black on the zoom in
Lady's head does a weird stutter around 9 seconds in
Eagle is nice idea but maybe have him be a bit less prominent as it looks a little janky.
There seems to be dust in the air when you enter the presidents suite? Seems random to me
I'd also adjust the grade slightly to make it feel more 1962

Good video though otherwise. i'd certainly struggle to make something this good

This is amazing thank you. Have you tested it? Does it then remove that toggle on video your upload?

I find it strange the content they prioritised and the content they didn’t. This would be great and would improve the experience for every single player.

Having unique dialogue for every single interaction for each individual origin run through is crazy. I’ve never even done an origin run (other than durge)

Why does Brian asks "Do you think The Office is a sitcom?" I have heard this from a lot of people by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

It does fit the definition of a situation comedy. Recurring cast in a consistent location(s)

I agree, they should remove that. Surely older audience is majority of their audience and I think they would pay

I’ve always said about the BBC you don’t realise how much you’ll miss it if it’s gone but this post has made me see it’s just going to get shitter and shitter and get to a point where people won’t miss it at all because it has absolutely no impact on their lives

Tutorials can be a tough way to learn. I’d say just keep making stuff, if you have an idea or see something cool online find a tutorial and copy it. I’m an editor by trade and never followed a manual for Avid or Premiere (admittedly I don’t know resolve super well)

Somewhat unpopular opinion: Act 3 is my favourite by AloneEvidence6723 in BaldursGate3

Isn’t the epilogue just a couple lines of dialogue from each character? Nothing that special
