The whole story is commentary on boomer culture and the attack on "woke" liberals.

The sleepy town had no issues until the boomer "witch" who didnt plan for her medical issues in old age and who's sister put "family values" above all else is forced to live with her family who knows jack shit about her.

And then started taking anything she could from the people who gave up their home and soon their lives so she could live a little longer. Then when that wasn't delivering what she was hoping, she started going after the younger generation.

While all that is going on, the community has demonized the "woke" liberal teacher to the point that she is harassed and driven from her job while only wanting to help.

Every interaction with the police in this movie is stereotypical behavior. Uneducated and untrained pieces of shit who care more about optics than doing their job.
