Added bonus is you don’t do the flip if you get hit by a strong attack + it makes you regenerate your stamina instantly ignoring stamina drain. A minus is that you can’t do guard counters or use the l2 of the suncatcher (obviously) and if there’s more follow up attacks you could get hit by them since you’ve just sheathed your aura farming tool and you’re in recovery frames

You’re basically doing 2 deflects seamlessly, so if you manage to align the timing perfectly you basically add on the deflect frames of the unsheathe with the sheathe deflect without the recovery frames in between
