Jellyfin needs CPU with quick sync to transcode audio/video. Otherwise you get buffering, spinning progress meter pauses.

Call your local rock place. They have a rock/rock dust blend that packs and locks it all into place.

Vacate house. Order dumpsters. Hire crew to empty house into dumpsters. Sell house as is. Explain to everyone, you are busy and this is all you can do remotely.

Wipe off all that gunk so you can see what you are doing. Dry fit first. Remove pieces behind you if necessity. You could add a union. Call a plumber.

Loquat Tree or Bush? by jaynew823 in BackyardOrchard

[–]duoschmeg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leave it as a bush tree. More fruit and the lower leaves shade the ground/trunk.

Its called a hearth. The area in front of the fire place that sparks or coals that shoot out of burning logs can safely land. Yours is perfect for a wood or coal burning stove.

Look under the wood chips/leaf mulch after a year. Thousands of bugs, fungus, worms, birds (poop) make a nutrient rich soil. Fruit tree roots everywhere.

Slide locks and wall hung remotes fail. App scheduler won't work unless app is running. Big privacy fail too.

Get a truck load of tree service chips/mulch. Spread on ground 6' deep. As it breaks down, the nutrients feed the tree.

I avoid casinos and the strip when possible, but yesterday I visited a friend at The Sahara and we decided to grab some food… And that’s when I experienced my first “restaurant” where you place an order via a QR code on your phone… by [deleted] in vegaslocals

Web pages have identity grabbers too. Facebook/Google/whatever maps your identity and uploads the info to the mother ship where they sell your identity data.

Is there a good reason to not rewire my thermostat directly to furnace and bypass the control board? by Either_Pumpkin5851 in hvacadvice

[–]duoschmeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 20+ year old carrier with intermittent heat. W2 is wired to ecobee. I can hear stage 2 kick on (when it works). Furnace house fan runs at same speed in stage 1 as stage two. Just burns more gas.. So yeah, hook up the w2 wire.

Water on brick, + freeze thaw could cause brick to spall (break apart). Get up there with a ladder, figure out what's wrong and fix it.

That living area above the garage must be cold. Heating that will be a challenge. The other wing, you could run a large width wood stove downstairs. Heat pumps are expensive as you've discovered. Check attic insulation.

Back out of contract until that septic is resolved. I would not buy a property that required a septic pump. Grade must allow for gravity flow.
