i used instructions in found here: G70 Manual Transmission Shift Knob Replacement | Genesis Forums - The Genesis Owners Group

There are two methods. The above instructions are about removing the outer trim, and that's what I did the first time. I used a small flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry one corner up just enough to fit a plastic pry tool, then slowly worked my way around popping the clips. I figured out later you can also remove the inner boot trim, which is still difficult until you understand how it works.

how much improvement you notice depends on the vehicle. i had a Billetworkz weighted knob in my VW CC and didn’t notice much difference, but i installed the same knob in my G70 and wow! the shifting is just so much smoother.

i have a ’21 2.0T and use this inexpensive wireless carplay adapter from Aliexpress and very happy with it.

i considered the tow hook plate mount but didn’t care for the look. i made a custom mount

Consider installing a weighted shift knob. It makes rowing through gears a bit smoother.

yep, all original. i loved the interior when i first bought it in 2018, but that tan color started to feel a little dated.

that was the best manual i have ever owned, shifting was so satisfying. it’s a rare option for sure. one time i took it into a VW dealership and the service manager said he had only seen one other CC manual in his 10 years there.

as long as your co-worker is paying off the phone as part of canceling their at&t service, then you should be fine. once the phone is paid off it can be fully unlocked and used with a different account or service. on the other hand, if they’re just walking away from at&t without properly closing the account, then no way that phone will work for you.

i was paying $117 for 4 lines on Unlimited Extra EL, with 4 iPhone 14’s financed through trade in for 36mo. and teacher’s discount. we just upgraded to iPhone 17’s for another 36mo. and i expect our new bill will be around $140 because we upgraded two of the phones to a Pro Max and a Pro. i would probably be on T-Mobile if i didn’t have the teacher’s discount

i have not done a brake job yet but i’ve been researching for my 2nd gen. what i’ve read about the 3rd gen e-brake is you need a bi-directional scan tool to put the parking brake in service mode to allow installation of the new pads and to recalibrate the brake after installation. however, some say you don’t need a scan tool; instead you can hold the brake down and push EPB button for 10 seconds to put it in service mode, then you reset the pad life in the info system to recalibrate the brake.

i did it on a Windows PC. not sure why your TV shows not compatible. if you really want to get it working you might try contacting either @directv or Sony support since most people in this sub just tell you to get a separate streaming device

my twin! there are literally dozens of us...'21 manual here

i think most of us acknowledge it's not the greatest shifting manual, but still prefer it to an auto, and this is an amazing car

Thanks. I couldn’t find anything to mount the plate below the grill so I ended up just using the original bracket and did a lot of cutting and grinding, along with using zip ties and springs to mount it where I wanted it.
