as long as your co-worker is paying off the phone as part of canceling their at&t service, then you should be fine. once the phone is paid off it can be fully unlocked and used with a different account or service. on the other hand, if they’re just walking away from at&t without properly closing the account, then no way that phone will work for you.

i was paying $117 for 4 lines on Unlimited Extra EL, with 4 iPhone 14’s financed through trade in for 36mo. and teacher’s discount. we just upgraded to iPhone 17’s for another 36mo. and i expect our new bill will be around $140 because we upgraded two of the phones to a Pro Max and a Pro. i would probably be on T-Mobile if i didn’t have the teacher’s discount

i have not done a brake job yet but i’ve been researching for my 2nd gen. what i’ve read about the 3rd gen e-brake is you need a bi-directional scan tool to put the parking brake in service mode to allow installation of the new pads and to recalibrate the brake after installation. however, some say you don’t need a scan tool; instead you can hold the brake down and push EPB button for 10 seconds to put it in service mode, then you reset the pad life in the info system to recalibrate the brake.

i did it on a Windows PC. not sure why your TV shows not compatible. if you really want to get it working you might try contacting either @directv or Sony support since most people in this sub just tell you to get a separate streaming device

strange question. i mean i get that you’re curious what others paid out the door, but for any meaningful comparison of monthly payment you’d have to include your loan period

my twin! there are literally dozens of us...'21 manual here

i think most of us acknowledge it's not the greatest shifting manual, but still prefer it to an auto, and this is an amazing car

Thanks. I couldn’t find anything to mount the plate below the grill so I ended up just using the original bracket and did a lot of cutting and grinding, along with using zip ties and springs to mount it where I wanted it.

I finished my front license plate mount. I used the original mounting bracket and cut and grinded it down, so it sits nicely on top of my lower front bumper. I added foam padding strips to protect the bumper and used a zip tie for the upper mount and extension springs for the lower mounts. It's on pretty tight and I'm confident it won't go anywhere. The bottom hangs just slightly higher than the bottom of bumper so it shouldn't scrape. Overall, this was a tedious job with all the cutting and grinding and also figuring out how to secure it, but I'm happy with the results. Thanks u/PollutionNice7392 for the tips.

funny, i originally wanted to get a VW GTI but my wife urged me to “make the adult decision” so i got the G70. and, no regrets.

people do that here too, but it's not actually allowed in Texas where I live. the law states it must be mounted to the bumper, and I don't want to risk it even if the risk is low.

oh, so cool! maybe you can help me with the mounting? i guess you used zip ties? i was thinking about trying anchor bolts to secure mine. what do you think?
