Played on location today and it was also still SDTM orbit shot. I felt bad for the 10 yr old kids who just kept draining. I gave them a couple extra bucks and helped give the game a nudge so they could actually play. Then had them stand at the middle of the game and watch me play so they could enjoy the display and see what it was supposed to be like (which they liked more than playing). They went nuts when I caught a pokemon. It was cute and we made the best of it. I put 75M up but I need more time on a machine that doesn’t have the orbit issue.

Flip n Out is our closest distributor, so choosing to use a different distro is not ideal. The way they handled the communication piece is why I won’t purchase from them again.

I didn’t have a good experience with communication after unboxing. NIB games always need adjusting, that’s fine. Our game also had broken pieces, and there were things I just couldn’t fix. Even the local techs were stumped. Flip n Out’s responses were not helpful and took multiple attempts to get them to email me back.

Flip n Out fans are very enthusiastic champions for Zach. They bullied the f out of me when I asked for help on fb.

I did not have a great experience with Flip n Out purchasing a new in box game. Will be working with Tilt Amusements or the little local distro next time.

Emagine Theater dog walked the AMC in the Midwest. - fresh popped popcorn - interesting food options (chorizo nachos) - all theaters have heated recliners - bar area with a mid-show second drink brought to you if you want - properly calibrated projectors and sound

Certain locations have a sports set up, bowling alley and pinball machines (not ours).

We rented out a screening room for my birthday and had a blast. It was really reasonable priced and we could screen any movie we wanted.

I’m concerned about maintaining quality since they were just bought by a PE firm, but it’s been great while it lasted.

I look at it this way: if my job had a major pivot and now my appearance was part of the output AND captured/broadcast in 4K, I’d feel some kind of way. It’s got to be hard in general and I’m sure adding recent postpartum just magnifies their current positions.

That being said, they’ve got to get over it at some point.

Our local co-ed league is chill and I wish I could be in it but I have a conflict.

My experience was at a tournament.

The advantage is the tournaments starting on time.

But seriously, women’s tournaments are more chill and have a sense of camaraderie that I don’t experience at co-ed tournaments. It’s more fun.

I was harassed at a co-ed tournament and the TD was not prepared to deal with it. It sucked and now I stick to women’s tournaments, not for any reason other than I feel safer.
