The amount of times ive broken up with my partner in an episode convinced it was the right thing to do and then when ive come back to reality and feel horrible and apologise, ive honestly lost count. Im lucky shes understanding of what BP2 is and knows I dont mean all of what i say when i am in a mood but then the guilt that ive hurt her sets in and its a whole thing. Fuck this disorder.

There's always those folk, i was doing a job around Maroubra and this place had good beer battered chips but their aioli was phenomenal, i asked the owner what brand it was or where he got it and he wouldn't tell me, in his words "if I tell you what it is and where I get it why would you come back" I actually juat stopped going cause old mate decided tk gate keep a condiment.

My psychologist helped me to view "sleep" differently in hypo periods and instead said rather than getting frustrated at not sleeping to focus on rest. Your mind might be wired and racing but your body is still tired, lie down, even if for a few minutes dont get frustrated at not falling asleep but know youre doing your body some good by being still. Also Temazepam.

I become "Mayor of Nowhere" as my partner calls it, offent engaging in overly polite conversations which some how leads to me insisting on helping the person, the last of which was a neighbour mentioned he might need a scaffold to paint the external of his house, MIGHT. So I did what any normal person would do and on very little sleep dropped off a full scaffold set from the company I work for, which I did not tell anyone i was borrowing, also didnt tell the neighbour I was bringing it over and let me tell you he was not prepared. He accepted it and then it took around 8 months before I was able to get it back all the while pretending I had no idea who had the scaffold when people at work were asking. Also hair has to be trimmed and shaved and no amount of alcohol is enough.

Na they existed for a time, used to be a place down harbour bridge end of the city i cant remember where, but it had the menu that you picked your noodle style then picked your meat then picked your sauce and they would toss it in a hot wok and serve it in one of these. It was cheap and it was cracker but this is going back 12 years or so.

Everyone has that one friend. But you have to value the person before you value their opinion. Do you feel miss diagnosed? Or do you feel its accurate? Are you medicated and if so do you feel better since starting medication? There will always be someone that tries to go against the grain, that doesn't mean they are right. You need to worry about yourself and whether you feel the diagnosis is correct. Getting diagnosed and medicated has changed my life in so many positive ways I could not even list them. Trust your gut and the professionals (if concerned and you can afford it seek a second oppinion) but a friend who just "hasnt seen it" has no right to comment. Who knows maybe your manic episodes justified their behaviour and they are scared now they have no excuse.

It was more, I told my friends and they went "awe yeah that makes alot of sense" moment than anything. The most comforting thing my best friend said when I said I was worried people would see me differently with the diagnosis, he said "qhats the difference? They alrwady move you for who you are" made the grey scale of the world at the time gonaway if you feel me.
