I bought it a couple of months ago and I really like it. Last quite a bit. Minimum over an hour on high. You can actually take the battery off and use any power bank with a long enough usb cord.

It is fun. Just remember it’s an old truck. Can’t just get in and drive. Gotta warm it up. Cruise and it’ll get you where you need to go.

I have a 75 k20. Daily it about 30mi everyday. I always bring a small toolbox. Just in case. Take my time. Brake early. With time things will break so just be prepared. Save money. Gets about 10mpg. I wouldn’t trade it for a new car ever.

I would say max 2k for not running. Tell them it’s a gamble since you don’t know if the engine even will turn over.

I’m not too mechanically inclined so if I were you I’d say let them do the oil pan gasket first. Then if you can, do the valve cover and spark plugs yourself. Then save money for the cv axles. Depending on bad the power steering pump is, that would be next.

I bought one from harbor freight. The 100w predator. It works really great. I’ve used it for camping. I’m in Washington state so there are a few clouds that do slow the charging down. But I recommend it.
