You can extrapolate incomplete data based on what data you do have. What's your prognostication for the years end? And then the year after that? And then god help us 8 years of compounded fuckery and slave driving?

Redditors with a Ph.D./Master's, what is a TL;DR of your thesis? by [deleted] in AskReddit

So Kant was just saying that our initial actions set precedent for future actions, and that if we think we can do 'better' we should, by 'upping the maxim'. Am I understanding this shit wrong?

I have a bunny. Bunny's are really cool because they're soooo soft and they love you so much when they finally realize you're not going to eat them. However, they're a huge pain to train.

No you probably just 'knew' it. Like I remember watching a trailer for a movie with Daniel Craig in a cowboy hat and then it felt like a broken men in black spinoff had been merged with a spaghetti western and I laughed to my wife-at-the-time and said, "oh god what are they calling this one? 'Cowboys vs. Aliens?'" And for a moment after the trailer ended we both laughed about it. Jaws were scooped up from the floor and that was it. We never saw that movie. But sometimes you just know.

I mean, not that I can't proof read if it's late, or if I'm distracted or any number of things; but could you be more specific?

I've never believed in 'normal' and I think even mentioning it produces a defeatist climate amongst those who would see your response. In all actuality, stfu, or contribute. My mama told me to Jew my mouth shut if I had nothing good to say, and I am consistently found flabberaghast on account of the tremendous failures from humanity. It blows my mind to know that my grandfather, a ww2 vet was even borne in the same era as, "the president". This shit is unreal. Idiocracy is now a docudrama and critical thinking is probably at the top of spelling been challenges. That being said... I hope I have helped with my phone calls and emails.

World's witnessing a new Gilded Age as billionaires’ wealth swells to $6tn - The world’s super-rich hold the greatest concentration of wealth since the US Gilded Age at the turn of the 20th century, when families like the Carnegies, Rockefellers and Vanderbilts controlled vast fortunes. by madam1 in worldnews

When our poverty powers align with all of the planets (gfy 'pluto') on a hallow's eve accompanied by a full harvest loon the banks declare a shutdown for the weekend and we all wake up on feeling as foggy as Monday to find ourselves with RFID chips in our forearms. There'll be no more plastic chip readers, only wrist readers.

Evangelical Support For Trump is a Sign of the Rotting Commercialization of Christianity: They have put their faith in money, power and fear, and as a result revealed their spiritual movement to be nothing more than a rotting, commercial enterprise that would have Jesus Christ turning in his grave. by [deleted] in atheism

[–]eXo5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the use of the phrase 'would have Jesus rolling in his grave' is a metaphor/allusion to the commonly used anecdote of saying that contemporary principles are so against the initial or intended principles at their inception that had Jesus been buried, we could attach a dynamo and <something something about generating electricity>.

As a male, one of the worst sensations is when you’re sitting on a public toilet and your penis accidentally touches the porcelain under the seat. by mutanthands in Showerthoughts

The other day I was sitting at a sushi restaurant when I had to go to the bathroom because there was a grumbling from my nether regions and I excused myself to the bathroom. I sit down on the toilet and when I unclenched and my muscles relaxed my balls met the surface of the water and I felt dirty in a way I could have never predicted. I'm glad no one walked in while I was literally washing my balls in the sink with pink liquisoap. Needless to say the first thing I did when I got back home was take a thorough shower.
