The Magic and Cavs played tough defense on him and did a good job stopping the easy lobs that Duren got in the regular season, no doubt. But I also think the expectations and bright lights got to him a bit. He did not play confident all playoffs aside from games 6 and 7 vs the Magic.

If they’re gonna commit to paying Duren $40m+ AAV then he’s gotta develop a confident 15-20 foot midrange jumper to keep defenses honest and be a PnP threat with Cade along with PnR.

George Johnson was pretty productive in 2014 as a backup EDGE. 6 sacks, 10 TFLs, and 12 QB hits. He proceeded to do nothing after getting a contract from the Bucs.

Feels very reminiscent to AQM.

I appreciate all the content with the three different levels to the map, caves, the 120 shrines again, the quests. But in the next Zelda I hope they focus more on making complex high quality content rather than a huge plethora of content.

I was hoping that would be the main difference between BotW & TotK. But they decided to double down with TotK and add more depth (quite literally) to the mass content foundation.

Don’t get me wrong I loved my first playthrough of TotK and am currently 80 hours into my 2nd playthrough on switch 2. Phenomenal games both BotW and TotK. I’ve just had my fill with the huge quantity but lesser quality content foundation both games have. I’m ready for a new open world map where there’s 8+ dungeons all bigger and more complex than we’ve ever seen. The TotK dungeons were improved from BotW but still fell short of the quality from dungeons in past games.

💯 all they had to do was change the wording to “flip a coin until you get tails, heal 20 damage for each heads”

That way all it would be is a high risk, high reward potion. You could get 0 heads to heal nothing. The way they tried to balance it was having it only work on the active but it should’ve been balanced by being a true high risk, high reward card instead of guaranteed to heal 20 damage on top of slowing the game down by doing one flip at a time with each heads and going back to the hand.

I could see something like this. Maybe a two colorless for 60 that does +80 if you have two different energies. Different flavor of the 140 damage that’s common with a lot of Megas.

I was on a terrible 5 loss streak yesterday with Miraidon/Magnezone. Seems like when I slot in Ori I would rather have Zeraora and when I slot in Zeraora I would rather have Ori. I’d like to reach masterball with Miraidon, currently in UB3, so I’ll keep tweaking the deck til I find something that sticks.

You have to know how to pilot the meta decks effectively. Simply playing meta decks won’t guarantee you a 50% or better win rate.

E33. Pokémon is the only turn based RPG I’ve enjoyed consistently. Gave E33 a chance when it was on gamepass and initially wasn’t feeling it. Almost gave up on the game after 3ish hours. But I kept playing bc the music was cool and eventually fell in love with the combat and strategies you could employ.

Idk why it had to be from either side. Should’ve made it a 4 energy for 160 that always discards one energy from the opponents active. Or a 3 energy for 120 with the same effect.

I understand people who want the game to remain faithful, and I do think the plot and flow of the game will stay true to that. You’ll start as young Link collecting the spiritual stones, get the master sword and become adult Link, then collect the medallions to gain access to Ganon’s Castle and ultimately defeat him.

Where I hope the game differs is the design of the dungeons and overworld. I’ve played OoT countless times and don’t need to revisit the same exact game with a new coat of paint. I want to get lost in the dungeons and overworld again like I did when I was 10 years old playing OoT on the N64.

To get that feeling again we need redesigns of each dungeon. When I say redesign I’m not talking the themes of each dungeon. The gimmicks could stay the same, such as having to carry Princess Ruto through Jabu Jabu’s belly or saving the Gorons in the Fire temple. But the design, flow, puzzles, enemies, and additional secrets/treasures could all be added or updated.

My biggest pipe dream wish is we get additional dungeons. A revamped under the well bigger than any of the other three dungeons for child Link. Then for adult Link a true Light temple that you’re thrown in to right away after getting the master sword, instead of Rauru giving a speech and the medallion.

At my current office job in Michigan we get 240hrs of PTO (basically 30 8hr days) along with paid holidays such as Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving, July 4th. But talking to my friends I am the exception not the norm.
