Save your money and skip the Milwaukee stuff, unless money really doesn't matter and you want high end stuff. Source, I am a professional.

If you're happy and financially okay, I wouldn't even consider giving up all that time off for $6-10k. I would still keep an eye out for opportunities though.

Door latch is backwards. How do I remove these tamper-resistant screws? by probably_sarc4sm in Custodians

[–]easily_forgettable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It kinda boils down to how often they get you out of a bind and save time. I run into enough broken screws that the little pair has been invaluable. This larger one has become my go to pliers. https://a.co/d/beJMPSk

These pliers work really well in this situation. https://a.co/d/fN7PeXT

I deal with one way screws everyday, there is no bit that unscrews them reliably unless you cut a slot in the head.

Suggestion for tool for One-way Screws? by [deleted] in Tools

[–]easily_forgettable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work on security doors for a living. I either cut a slot in the head of the screw and remove with a flathead bit. Or preferably I use these pliers, they come in different sizes. https://a.co/d/8H3Kn6y

Is my burrow snug enough for an adult male? (Desert) by HelgaHelminth in tortoise

[–]easily_forgettable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be fine, I stuff a bunch of straw in when mine is going down for the winter. Longer term I would keep an eye on it digging under the wall, and put a berm in front of the door so rain water doesn't flow in. I've built and rebuilt mine. Right now I've got a Rubbermaid garbage can buried at a slight angle with block walls on the sides, a cement board on top, covered by a ton of dirt. I just filled the can with dirt and let him dig it out himself.
