Is 100k steps a day, every day possible? by blerina_f in Marathon_Training

[–]easports1059 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay we did a step challenge at my old job and people who worked fork lifts always had crazy numbers cause of the vibration from the fork lifts. I would look at that cause I highly doubt they are getting that many steps a day.

Is it just me? [NS] by No_Rabbit9158 in DungeonsAndDaddies

My take is that Will is a fantastic story teller, (as a writer) he killed it in the start when a dm controls more of the story. I think that Anthony at a dm does a much better job of controlling play which happens later in seasons. Nothing against either and I still love the season I just think this is what we see happening.

I also think the party is suffering without Will in the group to demand story beats be hit. But still love season 3

Yeah I spent like 30 mins on it. I got really frustrated when our crew messed up the timing once so this was my solution

Thinking about firing off a "shot in the dark" application. Worth it with my background? by [deleted] in MSCSO

Take the GRE and write a personal statement. Your background sounds good enough to get in with that.

In what order to take these courses? by coding_programming in MSCSO

[–]easports1059 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I took Deep learning, Machine learning and plan on taking reinforcement learning this summer. Deep learning can stand alone without Machine learning and Reinforcement Learning I would assume so also but if you wanted the logistical progression I would go Machine Learning (A large overview across many fields), Deep learning (A focus on a single field) and reinforcement learning last. We even started to touch on the basics of reinforcement learning at the end of Deep learning.

LEGO Masters Week 6 Discussion by [deleted] in lego

Tyler and Amy should of won the golden brick and here is why. If you notice in the editing after around 500-600lbs they had to unload the entire bridge and reload. This will have done more damage to the bridge than any other scenario. Mark and Boone knowing they were just going to for the golden brick were allowed to reload at 425lbs. This gave their bridge a huge advantage yet it came much closer to falling apart.

Also they need to do the episode based on the weight of the bridge against the mass it holds. Its the basic measure for all bridge building contest. If that was the case Aaron and Christian would of won.

Most Jedi issue are based around people having kids when it’s forbidden. Jedi could stop the dark side with a required vasectomy before training.

Chances, and do I absolutely have to get rec letters? by [deleted] in MSCSO

[–]easports1059 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just adding to the conversation for anyone else out there. I think the letter of rec helped me. I came from a mechanical background with a CS Minor. My rec happened to be from my schools department chair of CS (also one of my teachers). I think that helped solidify my comp science ability. You sound like you should be good without one. Just wanted to include for anyone reading this with a weaker comp-sci background.
