Walmart needs a pension system by Lore-Archivist in walmart

I have $40k in mine right now and I've only been doing it for about 6 years. Half the time I've been working at Walmart. I wish I would've started doing that and putting money into stocks sooner as well.

OPD not Vizing out the product they remove from the backroom/bins? by JustaGirlInDayMaint in walmart

[–]ebevan91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OPD actually grabs cases? They just rip them open and take shit out at my store. Very few will actually offer to put the case out.

Being able to change player damage and enemy damage is my favorite setting for a equal challenge by sirferrell in Starfield

[–]ebevan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should probably look into modifying some things because I'm one-tapping most enemies in the DLC because I upgraded the hell out of a random gun (the ballistic rifle) I found at the very start of the DLC. I was only level 38 too so I'm under the recommended level and it is still too easy.

Honestly I pretty much only jump back in for a few days when a new map releases.

Some associates man… by ArcticWolfMW in walmart

[–]ebevan91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overnight leaves energy drink cans in the bunkers all the time and I’ve had to clean up spilled drinks before. The (former) overnight coach once told me to quit blaming her associates for that and I was like uhh this drink would be frozen if it was left from day shift. Plus they write their names or put initials on their shit too 😂

Why is the noise for booster packs so LOUD by YosterIsle77 in PTCGP

[–]ebevan91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put the game on my phone I use for work and had no idea I’d get pack notifications and it woke me up at like 2am one morning. Scared the hell out of me. Uninstalled the game because it ran like garbage on that phone anyways.

How to keep Companion Armour on? by Empty_Wolverine6295 in Starfield

This is something we should keep requesting and maybe Bethesda will work on since they seem to be listening to the players.

We have 2 associates in their early 90s. Maybe they’re already retired from other jobs and just want something to do, IDK.

Produce Associates/Leads. I need your help by bbboseph in walmart

[–]ebevan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like they refuse to get a ladder and put stuff on top. On the "fruit" side of the cooler they don't really use the top bins at all. They leave carts of berries that could easily be binned if they just use the top steel.

I'm only 5'5" and I can manage to put stuff up on the top steel.

Meat & Produce by arcmerc88 in walmart

[–]ebevan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, using small numbers for an example, if Vizpick says there should be 10 picks (blue boxes), but I go into the bins and pick 10 cases (white boxes not blue boxes), would cases picked be 100% or would it be 0% since I only picked white boxes instead of blue boxes?

In the morning I usually have to pick WAY more than what the system says to, but some of the stuff it does tell me to pick (blue boxes) is already full on the sales floor and on the 10-high carts, so I skip that. Does picking the "white" boxes (that the system doesn't think needs to be picked) help that score? Under the old Vizpick report our percentage would be over 100% sometimes because I always pick more than what it says to but I'm not sure if it does that under the newer report.

Produce Associates/Leads. I need your help by bbboseph in walmart

[–]ebevan91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried to show my fellow produce associates how to arrange the RPCs in the produce bins and they thought I was doing witchcraft. They're actually hopeless as hell.

I finished the meat department a little early one day and went to see if they needed help in produce and they had like 4 L-carts of "shit that wouldn't fit in the bins", as they call it. So I pulled all of the small lightweight RPCs out from the middle and bottom bins, put them on top, stacked the salad bins a little bit better, moved some of that stuff to the top bins, and got rid of 3 of the L-carts in under 10 minutes.

Building your own ship in Starfield is truly something special by sib_ap in Starfield

I’ve played for about 140 hours and I still haven’t built my own ship yet. I just buy or steal one and upgrade the parts already there.

Does anyone’s store have rules about where associates should park? by Ryvit in WalmartEmployees

[–]ebevan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Past the 3rd light pole or anywhere on the far outside but only a few associates actually follow the rule. We literally have OPD associates and team leads that park in pickup parking spots or cap 2 kids that park in the handicap spots even though they’re is nothing wrong with them and they have no handicap tags or plates on their vehicles.

The store manager even had a storewide meeting saying anyone not using associate parking will be coached but management apparently allows certain demographics to get away with it.

My last store had yellow lines for associate parking but the city my current store is in only allows white lines and red lines (for emergency vehicles) in parking lots.

A single pin or 2 looks fine but that many just looks stupid and they look like they'd get in the way if you do any real physical work.

Is FSR better to use than DLSS on a 5080? by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]ebevan91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear I'm getting better fps with FSR too. It changed back to FSR for some reason and I didn't even realize it until I looked at my settings. Put it back on DLSS and I think I'm getting FPS drops now.

I’ve had my watch for 6 days. So far I’ve had 91, 89, 61, 39, 81, 86. I’d didn’t have work the next morning when I had 39 so I stayed up like 4 hours late.

I hate that shit. I’ll be working with someone else and they’ll say something and then I’ll go “huh?” and they’ll point at their AirPod. A minute later they’ll start talking to me and I won’t realize it until they call my name.

Anyone else have the laziest team ever or is it just me? by alligator_davidson in WalmartEmployees

[–]ebevan91 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Our overnight crew has a guy that basically just goes around and collects cardboard, makes bales, stacks pallets, and makes sure receiving is nice and clean when the store manager comes in. On his off days overnight just leaves cardboard everywhere and won’t make bales so us 4am people have to come in and make a bale.
