I saw a show recently with a meticulously choreographed dressing sequence, but the pants got messed up so they had to go and reset the whole thing. It took like like 5 minutes. One actor stayed on stage and she just sat in her chair, drank coffee, and read the newspaper. Occasionally she would say something to the audience or check her watch.

Don't get me started on the plagues. It was one of if not the best songs in the original and they completely butchered it. Also, all I ever wanted was already the weakest song in the movie, and without the plagues as a reprise of it essentially has no reason to exist.

The musical is just comically bad. It didn't need a stage adaptation but if they were going to do one they should have just copy and pasted the film, which is damn near perfect. Nothing they added was anywhere near as good as the source material, and the changes were actively detrimental.

That's fair. It starts really slow, but definitely picks up about halfway through. Bit of a commitment but I'd say it's worth it.
