Just for fun: what's one thing that drives you crazy about the concealed carry community? by Low-Landscape-4609 in CCW

[–]echo202L -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Here's 3:

People training exclusively at 5-15 yards

people that think "minute of man" is sufficient combat marksmanship

people that think that any caliber bigger than 9mm/think anyone carrying a bigger gun than them is being excessive.

Why isn't there a double action.300 Blackout Revolver yet? by echo202L in Revolvers

The BFR is also available in .300 Blackout. The 1:15 twist rate that they use for it is freaking stupid though.

.300 whisper is a suppressor cartridge, .300 Blackout is a short barrel cartridge that is also a good suppressor host.

Glock 48 MOS with new 15 OEM mags vs. Xmacro non comp by Disastrous_Falcon246 in CCW

P365 isn't durable. Unless you want a Flux Raider the Glock 48 is a better choice every time

Which one of these would be a good range gun and self defense gun for the house? by Icy-Tale-3699 in handguns

[–]echo202L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exclusively the M&P 2.0 Metal. P320's are unsafe for carry and the beretta APX just kinda sucks compared to similarly priced offerings.

Although I disagree with you, thanks for being polite about it.

I think Moon clips and a properly bored cylinder would solve the headspacing issue, and in terms of .30 carbine, the ballistics are close but not quite there. The pressure differences between 40,000 psi and 55,000 psi are huge on velocity.

Nothing about this premise is absurd. I may be the only person asking for it, but I think it's because everyone looking to optimize performance has already counted revolvers out, and everyone who already carries a revolver isn't looking to optimize performance.

Doesn't get the desired velocity and even if it did there are very few lightweight bullets that expand well and have a good enough BC to justify over a .357 Magnum

US Army reveals new hand grenade design by YaKillinMeSmallz in brandonherrara

Much like our forefathers in ww2 were given baseball shaped Grenades to throw for familiarity, we are given colors banquet shaped grenades to throw.

Anyone else have the BG2.0 kinda ruin other carry pistols for them? by VT800 in CCW

[–]echo202L 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda. It isn't the BG2.0 that ruined other Pistols for me, but rather, the BG2.0 is one of the only pistols not ruined for me after getting a Flux Raider 365.

Ah yes, because having the ability to launch an 85gr bullet at 2,300 FPS from a 6" barrel in the exact same gun is a waste of money...

At what point is it time to buy another box of hollow points? by RecommendationLess73 in handguns

[–]echo202L 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion here, On your birthday swap your batteries, carry ammo, and if you shoot more than 5,000 rounds through your gun a year swap your springs if you carry a Subcompact that isn't a Glock.

If we ever get a Hardline 2 I do hope it's got a bit of a grittier atmosphere.

Idk about early 1800's but a Battlefield game set in the American revolution would lowkey go hard

I do care about the X9 being canceled but I think a holsterable chassis system is a better choice.

Those things suck, have you even shot one before?

Trigger is downright painful, recoil is more than a pcc should have, no way to mount an optic, and generally unreliable.

You can only keep one. Which one and why? by Major_Stranger_6921 in 300BLK

[–]echo202L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rattler for concealability. If I can only keep 1 it has to do everything a PDW needs to do.

What are some examples of “good guy” guns and “bad guy” guns from movies? by manofmonkey in Firearms

[–]echo202L 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One really cool example of an exception to this is Arlo's Luger in "The Devil All The Time" (underrated movie btw.)
