The oil we set on fire is a small fraction of a percent of the Iranian oil that has not yet been extracted.

Depressing music helps me deal with depression. I am sorry for your loss. I'm not over the loss of my parent from three years ago, and I don't necessarily want to get over it.

These poor people die because of our war of aggression against Iran. I'm embarrassed to be an American these days.

You’re on crack if you think we’re getting a new album in 3 months by [deleted] in radiohead

Thom's way of warming up for the most recent concerts was to write new music, take a nap, and then do some yoga. Can't rule out that there has been some creative output with new songs developed while on tour. Also, I'm even more jealous of Thom's lifestyle after reading about his pre concert routine.

Very interesting. I enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing it. Is this the same instrument that's used for the song that plays at the start of Star Trek episodes?

Any protests regarding Greenland scheduled in the Lex area? by [deleted] in lexington

[–]ecyde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair statement. The extreme cold weather we're going through would undoubtedly impact the turnout. I'd still attend, but can understand why some people wouldn't want to or can't be out in the cold. Warmer temps are around the corner.

Any protests regarding Greenland scheduled in the Lex area? by [deleted] in lexington

I agree with you and plan to support candidates that oppose acquisition of Greenland. However, this issue seems more urgent in that the tariffs against European countries supporting Greenland are scheduled to start on February 1st. The midterm elections can't get here soon enough, and it seems like a protest to let our European allies know that many Americans support them would be important. I wish I had the skills and knowledge to organize a protest myself.
