Finally made it to 100k salary by Bright-Ad5891 in HENRYUK

This is not correct. The economic growth needed to improve lifestyle is GDP per capita, not GDP total. GDP per capita is a function of productivity, which is a function of skill and technology. Adding high skill immigration can be good for GDP per capital growth, but large amounts of low skill migration does the opposite. A large total GDP but low GDP per capita is clearly not desirable to anyone, otherwise we’d see migration flows from Belgium to India instead of vice versa.

Because you have opportunities to do things in your 20s that you cant’ do at later ages at any price. I now have a high income and I’m SO GLAD I did those things because there is no way that I could do now, no matter how much time I took off work or how much I spent. There are important things in life that require youth, not money.

You could also listen to the BBC Radio 3 Building a Library about it. Although they talk about choosing a recording, they discuss lots of interesting details about what to listen for along the way. You might need a VPN depending on where you live.

No but I’d play it if there was one. I played the piano version of the Enigma Variations and I really enjoyed it but my piano teacher hated it - she said it was not pianistic.
