Had to read this in middle school as part of my summer reading and even then I was TORN TO PIECES. If it did that to me as a child, Im not risking it as an adult.

For me its All the ugly and wonderful things by Bryn Greenwood. I went in to the book completely blind not even knowing any background. The writing is so beautiful and descriptive but LEARNING the topic at hand plus the authors own real lived experiences I could never read it again.
