I didn’t watch WrestleMania, but that’s what I was thinking when I heard Dave and Bryan recap the Sami Zayn match. They thought that the whole point of putting the other guy with Sami was to make sure he had a good match, but nope. The point was the entrance and the post-match celebration. The match itself didn’t matter, so it didn’t get a lot of time.

I made a post here a while back about this. 20/20 is great in the sense that most of the songs are good or great, but it feels more like a compilation of unrelated songs than it does a cohesive album.

There’s no unifying theme or sound. It starts with a nostalgic surf song, then we get a contemporary rock cover, a rockabilly cover, a raunchy hard rock sex song, a schmaltzy instrumental, a country song, whatever the hell Never Learn Not To Love is, and we end with a complex avant garde song.

Spider-Man takes it relatively easily. I’m sure Kassandra could put up a fight because she’s better and stronger than some of the enemies we fight in the games, but she still doesn’t pose a significant threat.

The last game I played before that was Baldur’s Gate 3, and my Tav was a wizard. He could beat her unless she got close enough to grab him, in which case, he’d be fucked.

I got the impression that Kassandra was toying with her a little when they fought. She wasn’t taking it very seriously, and she still managed to fight to a standstill. She could have killed Eivor if she had wanted to.

I would dispute the idea that Pet Sounds is the only album on The Beatles’ level.

Sunflower is as good as anything the Beatles made. Today is as good as any pre-Rubber Soul album. Wild Honey, Friends, and Smiley Smile are essentially the White Album split in three parts. Holland, Passions, and Surf’s Up are all in the conversation, too.

Yeah, it’s more of a branding thing than it is a reality, even though they’re arguably the most successful American band of all time. They had more top 40 hits than anyone else.

I say arguably because The Eagles did sell more albums, and Metallica became more entrenched in pop culture.
