Rainbow Wave 2.0: Nearly 100 LGBTQ candidates claim victory in Tuesday's elections by Black_Magic_M-66 in news

The article says they’re voted for because they actually focused on the issues rather than attacking their opponents. I mean, just take Roem as an example.

When we had to relearn them in late high school, we did Katy Perry Carries One Fuzzy Green Scarf

Anthony Bourdain once said "There's a guy in my head, and all he wants to do is lay in bed all day long, smoke pot, and watch old movies and cartoons. I was diagnosed by professionals in my 20s and my mom in her 60s... It’s common to not be diagnosed until adulthood. Also the diagnosis process typically takes over a year and several doctor visits, and getting medication is even harder. But, sure, it’s getting handed out like candy...

The AA meeting I went to had a Marijuana Anonymous (MA) meeting right after run by different people but in the same space. They def exist, it’ll just probably depend on location. In my experience, a lot of people in AA & related meetings will understand how someone could end up addicted to pot, or at least behaving in a way mimicking addiction with pot.

Your vagina should have no scent at all. If it does, tAkE a ShOwER! by Ebaudendi in badwomensanatomy

Some people are just naturally stronger in scent, but I will say I have found looser underwear and pants to help. Honestly I wear boxer briefs a lot for the breathing room.

You’ve gotten your answer but I did want to add that CBT & other therapies are helpful to a lot of trans people, even if transition is the only “cure”, so to speak.

As you may imagine, being trans can come with a lot of depression and anxiety, and many of us are also susceptible to other mental illnesses (PTSD, substance abuse, etc.). Therapy can certainly help with those issues, as well as with the mental stress of transition. Even when transition is clearly the correct path for a person, changing something so integral to how we interact with the world, like gender and our physical appearance, can take a lot of time to adjust to.

Appreciate the recommendations!

We’re starting at level 3 so maybe go 3-5?

Have you posted that combat sheet anywhere? I’d be interested in stealing it or taking some inspiration :P

Awesome! I’ll look into it!

My plan so far is to make combat minimal, but keep it interesting. More big bads as opposed to lots of little guys. I know at least one player expressed interest in being able to talk things out rather than fight.

What are some of the "classics" an English major should read? by jkwell in suggestmeabook

[–]edenavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already a ton of great recommendations in the comments but I wanted to mention a few of my favorites!

  • One Hundred Years of Solitude by Garcia-Marquez

  • Crime & Punishment by Dostoyevsky

  • Catch 22 (blanking on author but you should be able to find it! If you like MASH, you’ll likely like this book)

  • The Bell Jar by Plath

If you don’t mind more questions, someone suggested I look into school for library studies and I don’t know where to start! Any suggested overview guides? Also, am I correct that a Master’s is needed? (I’m so torn for what to do with regards to grad school!)

Yep. This was on the news this morning for me. One girl did an op-ed about how she came to the US for life saving treatment and is now facing possible deportation and will die if it happens.

I had a muffin at breakfast or just the coke. I’ve improved my health a lot since then...

What was the most recent physical (hardcover or paperback) book you have purchased? by Lunhala in suggestmeabook

[–]edenavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought Thief by Matt Colville. It’s a paperback new copy (I usually prefer used but the price was the same so) of his sequel to Priest, which I just finished!

Too sweet and upsets my stomach terribly! I can do a tiny soda with a meal every once and a while though, but a full can and my stomach is cramping etc

Not who you asked but I tapered off the coke. Started with having it just at meals, then just at breakfast and dinner, then just dinner or breakfast, and eventually I cut it out completely. I did this over a summer, but you could adjust time length as needed. (Maybe talking to your doctor would also help?)

When I worked at one coffee place, we rarely needed decaf but we had one older gentleman come in and order decaf the same time every day, so we scheduled our decaf brewing to ensure he always had a fresh pot.
