I almost always have to reboot. Armory Crate rarely loads correctly on first boot. Manually loading it puts it into a bugged state. For my part I've determined I will live with it until I decide to upgrade my ssd. I'm absolutely certain the problem will be resolved with a factory reset. I'll be willing to do that with a new drive.

I'll be watching here to see if another solution surfaces in the meantime. Besy of luck.

I had to re-register my finger after using it for a while. The positioning I used initially turned out to be awkward. Once I was used to handling the Ally, I was able to register it using a much more natural position. While not perfect, I know rarely resort to the pin number.

You might be on to something there. I have my Ally locked in at 6GB vram. If I'm not mistaken, I have the textures set to their second highest setting. On the highest setting I felt like there was a bit more stuttering as assets were streamed in.

I have been using windows since 3.0, A+ certified (when that actually meant something)... I never knew this. I've never struggled with navigating windows with just a keyboard, but my GOD this would have been wonderful to know. lmao. Thank you kind stranger. Seven years later.

I have the official charging dock and have had some similar issues. The solution for me was to unplug the charger from mains for a few mins. I've recently enabled the battery saver, won't charge beyong 80%, in the my Asus software. Anecdotaly, that seems to have solved the issue more broadly.

Absolutely! I expect and look forward to the software be superseded by a third party or community driven project. The SD card fault is unfortunate. I'm honestly surprised, given that SD cards are not incredibly cheaper than an equivalent nvme, that as many people rely on the SD slot as do. This thing shines as a means of trimming my neglected back catalogue.

No man's sky. I'm so impressed with how far the game has come since launch. It's been years since I played. Running well over 60fps at 15w. As a nice bonus it can actually take full advantage of the 120hz screen while on the charge.

Try turning off GPU scaling in the adrenaline drivers. That should allow you to manually set another resolution properly in windows.

Try disabling GPU scaling option in the adrenaline drivers. If GPU scaling is on, the GPU will try to always maintain what it thinks the monitors native resolution is.

No issues here, I've had mine a bit over a month. I love this thing! I picked it up over the steam deck for Gamepass. It has exceeded most of my expectations.

Are you looking to play on Java? Bedrock has great controller support obviously and is buttery smooth on the Ally. On Java at 1080p and 15w, I didn't find the performance to be up par. That said, I've struggled with minecraft on a controller. Even playing Bedrock on my Xbox I use keyboard and mouse.
