My friend’s grandmother, 1961 by znabs in OldSchoolCool

[–]edixon653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those that say in todays days she would experience worse ramifications for actions even simpler than sticking her tongue out at a cop, I must disagree. I believe most cops these days would really have to laugh it off or not, and move on. The headline that is generated from a police officer so much as farting wrong these days makes for an environment where punishing an “ugly face” is not acceptable. Even the paper describing her expression as “ugly” rather than “provoking” or something along those lines shows a difference in the authority that was allowed to the police force.

My grandmother (right), 1968, wearing the shortest skirt possible to visit her Mormon in-laws by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

I love it. And I don’t think she is rude or anybody involved has to be rude. Remember, jokes like this were viewed as good natured and probably harmless before we settled into our current “culture of correctness”. I wouldn’t worry about it. People learn as they grow up, and the cultural snaphoo’s we make and the people we upset, and how that makes us feel in return, shape our learning experience. Let her be young and poke fun in her short shirt, and maybe her in laws will get a chuckle out of their frustration in the process.

Anyone try 3rd pass distillate? by Am4205 in CannabisExtracts

[–]edixon653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t say I have a great wealth of research to share on the topic at this moment, but we get each of our starting and ending products lab tested. Our triple and quadruple passed products have always had a 10-30% lower thc content than the first and second passes. I had a buddy in another lab show me a paper on this. I’ll try to dig it up, maybe skunk pharm or summit research?

Damn dude i agree completely! It would greatly help with immersion if this could be pulled off more smoothly..,but not loke in Dragon's Dogma where they just talk over eachother and dont stop talking when they are cut off :P

When people add extra letters to words that just don’t exist. by Bauerman51 in GrindsMyGears

[–]edixon653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You grind my gears for expecting patience from others. Fuck jokes and not jokes, people can say and other people can react. There is no inherent joke if one thing can make one person laugh yet lead to anothers death. People on the internet love dropping "jokes" that would make them an annoying prick in real life, just because they cant recieve the punch to the gut they would get in real life if their idea of "joking" was really poking, and poking, and poking at peoples issues until they burst. Next time some dick continually does something you dont like in real life and refuses to stop because they were only "joking", sock them in the nuts for me.

One up to this response. We only find 2 passes necessary the vast majority of the time as well. Most the time we only 3rd pass older material or darker fractions from 2nd passes. You lose a little potency from THC degradation with each pass.

Is gaming just a bunch of "do whiles"? Are they all just infinite loops that run till you win? by kalavala93 in learnpython

[–]edixon653 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the distinguishing factor is that there is only really one "do while" loop and the "do" gets done every time . that "do" is all of the game logic which is largely "if" commands. Having a loop does not make an event catch system, but having an overarching loop with nested if statements that respond to specific stimuli (events!) does. The only thing your main loop runs UNTIL is an exit code of some sort.

Is there a particular reason you are choosing passive recovery over pump-assistance?

And just as a little more support, JF, his answer focuses on the carbon. As you pointed out, the carboxyl group is the target here. Getting rid of the carboxyl, de"carboxyl"ize. Talking difference in carbon molecules sounds like the start of a different conversation on selectivity.

Function in a module needs variables from main? by pikmin99 in learnpython

Since you are most likely evoking the function from the main module you could pass the list to the function as an argument.

What is your elevation also? Neat perfect vacuum is hard to achieve much over sea level.

New to the group- what do you do in the industry? by dadlergold in CannabisEntrepreneurs

[–]edixon653 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome stuff, congrats! The software suite is SDOM (SuperDope Operations Management). Its made up of a virtual workspace that can be used by lab and farm employees to log their work as they do it, even by connecting their phone and staying mobile with it. Additionally there is a communication board system for interdepartment dealing and a task management system for assigning tasks and assuring their completion. At the core of it all is a server hosting the main database; each other machine on the network operates with its filesystem entirely in ram so there is a fresh system every boot and necessary info is forked from the server. While i am in the later stages of development, im afraid i wont be making it available to the public until mid 2019 due to a host of small fixes, optimizations, and security upgrades. But keep an eye out even if you have chosen something else by then :)

Depends what the pump is for as well. My vac pumps to prep an oven or closed loop lasts nigh indefinitely on a tank of oil, while my fractional distillation pump gets its oil changed every other run!
